that's the same question you've been asking yourself ever since your professor revealed it all to you.

"I don't know honestly," you say tiredly as your voice begins to quiet at any moment.

he nods his head slightly while looking at one specific area and back to you.

"Maybe it's some type of sorcery" he caresses his jawline.

you furrow your eyebrows at him and gave him a weird smile, you couldn't believe what he was saying.

"what sorcery?" you want to laugh at him but it seems that hes thinking deeply.

"some people said that after a person dies, his/her soul goes around the whole area and would try to communicate with their love ones before their 40 days has finished" he adds.

"that's some gossip I heard but I dont know if it's true" he adds with a laugh

you instantly look back at him after you heard his words, he kinda has a point after all.

your professor has gave you the day off since you're done with all the requirements to be passed to your subject teachers.

but you were told to stay in the clinic while the nurse still has to check up on your condition.

she said that you almost had a severe panic attack and thankfully it didn't happen because of Professor Hope's help.

you insisted that you want to leave because you're completely alright and so that your mom won't bother calling you but she said that she called her to get you.

you hate it when you bother other people for your needs.

you hear long and fast footsteps coming inside the room of the clinic, you slowly look up to see the door opening, revealing your mom.

she dashes up to you with a worried face as she hugs you tightly.

Mom: my goodness gracious Y/n, what happened?

your mom tries her best to comfort you by patting your head in a fast but comforting way, it's making your hair get a little messed up but you didnt care.

the nurse comes in to the room and begins to explain what happened to you, your mom takes notes of what to do when the same thing happens again.

you and her thank the nurse as you're permitted to leave the clinic and go back home.

"Y/n" your mom says while her eyes are currently focusing on the road.

you look up at her with your tired eyes, she looks at the mirror on top of her as she observes you.

"This is not you" she says straightforwardly.

you couldnt argue anymore, this is not really you and even the people around you could tell the difference between the old and new you.

you stayed quiet as your eyes lower down.

"listen, I want you to become a better version of yourself, I don't want to force you to become a person who you don't want to be but this is not it" she confesses right away.

you kept quiet as you glanced at yourself on the window, your reflection isn't that visible but you could still see yourself against the window, you couldn't lie, you see it too.

you know moms, they will always see something about you that you don't see on yourself, but this time, you do.

"Mom, I don't have time for this" you honestly tell her as you're too tired to hear her rants about your sudden changes.

"No, tell me, who's behind all of this?" she asks out immediately while holding the steering wheel right infront of her.

you took a huge sigh as your mind couldn't think of anything else other than Jimin, your heart breaks a little when you hear his name from someone.

it makes you feel like  he's actually dead and you couldn't believe it.

"Please" you tiredly stated out, your mom looks at you in the mirror which is on top of the window.

but she couldn't look at you much longer since she's driving in a busy highway where many cars would drive by.

you sighed in relief as she stopped talking about it, but you couldn't stop thinking more other than Jimin.

a tear escaped from your eye again but this time your mom didn't noticed it, you want to go into a box and just cry there over and over again.

the feeling of loneliness will never leave you until you see him again.

but you question yourself, how is that possible in this type of situation that you know the truth

you refuse to believe it, but there's no turning back, the truth is the truth, and it will never change.
