Wedding Planning

I had been engaged for a week and we had started to plan and I was definitely feeling overwhelmed with everything that needed to be done.

"Have you thought about where you would like to get married?" Pepper asked me.

We were sitting around a table, she, Nat, Laura, Wanda, Steve, and I while dad was talking to Bruce and Clint close by. Pietro and Vision were talking on the other side of the table and I was not sure where Thor was. Bucky was set by Nat and I could tell they were in their own little world as well.

"I don't know, it all feels like a lot to plan."

"Is there anywhere you have always loved and wanted to get married?"

"When she was little it was always a castle," dad said walking over to set between Pepper and me. "She wanted to get married in Ashford Castle, she loved it when we stayed there."

"Do you still want to?"

"I don't know, what do you think Steve?"

"Well, I think if that is what you would like we should do it. If you could pick anywhere, where would it be?"

"I mean I don't really know. I kind of loved the idea of getting married there when I was younger and I still do. What would you think about that?"

"That sounds perfect, do you truly like that idea?"
"I do, it's what I wanted when I was younger and what I would truly enjoy now. Are you sure you like it, Steve?"

"Yes, but as long as I get to marry you I am happy."
"How many people are we thinking?" Pepper asked us.

"Well, everyone here and the others who are not, my team and their families, Mel, and her team. I don't know, Steve, how many do you think?"

"I think the people you said for sure and if we think of others we can add them to the list."

"I will start to write a list."

"Thank you, Laura."

"Do you have a preferred date?"

"I have no idea Pepper, I don't even know how busy they are. What if they are booked for years? What if it doesn't work? What if..."
"Baby girl breath, we can look at different places to see what you like. It will be what you both want. I will make sure of that"

"Alright."

"How about I call and see what they have?"

"That sounds good, thank you, Pepper."

"Of course sweetie." Pepper got her phone and called them as I listened to her side of the conversation. I felt Steve rubbing circles on the back of my hand.

"You know this day is for us, not for anyone else. It will be perfect as long as I am married to you at the end of it." Steve whispers to me.

"Thank you for that, I needed it. I don't know what to do there is just so much."

"There are plenty of people to help. Just tell them what you want for sure and I'm sure they will be happy to help figure out the other things. Plus I am here, you don't need to do all of this alone."

"You truly are amazing, you know that right?"

"I try my best."

"They have an open week, the week of December 12 this year," Pepper tells us.

I look at Steve.
"What do you think?"

"I like it, what about you?"

"I think it is perfect. Let's see if we can book it."
