Dress Shopping (Finally)

The day had finally come, Again. I was finally going to pick my dress.

I could not believe that by the end of the day, I would hopefully have my dress.

A month had passed since I was shot and things were going better than I could have imagined. I had been healing incredibly well and while there would be a scar Jemma and the others did a good job that it would not be bad. Everyone was getting along well and Mel and Phil along with their team had come to a party at the compound last night as well as my team and had all stayed the night. Which was making it easier for today and all of us girls to go out to shop for dresses.

I was in the living room with Steve waiting for the others to come back down after we had all had breakfast together.

"Have fun."

"I will don't worry."

"Be careful, if it gets too much, say something and take a break."

"I will don't worry, I have four mother hen's going. They will keep an eye on me. Plus the others, I will be fine and very protected as well. It will be alright."

"I know, I just don't want you overdoing it. You are still recovering."

"I know, I will be careful. Plus they all know so they will make sure I take it easy. Now is there anything you would like to see in my dress?"

"You will look amazing in anything, so whatever makes you feel beautiful and you love, I will love."

"Right answer," Nat told him walking in with Bucky, Clint, Laura, and Lila who ran over to me and hugged me.

"I'm ready to help you find the best dress."

"Sweetie, remember Aunt Rebekah got hurt, we need to be careful."

"Sorry Auntie Beks"

"You didn't hurt me, little one. I am alright. But I will need your help to say yes to a dress today."

"Don't worry, I got you. We will make the best team."

"That we will," I tell her with a smile as I wrap my arm around her the best I could as she holds onto my side.

"Should we head out then?" Pepper asked as everyone else walked in.

"Yes, I am ready," I told her. Lila grabs my hand and I smile at her.

"I will see you later," I told Steve before giving him a quick kiss.

"Bye guys see you in a while," I tell them.

"Ya bye" Lila adds and we make our way out.

"My daughter is spending way too much time with Rebekah and Natasha." I heard Clint say, and I wink at Lila.

"He has no idea."

"Let's have fun Auntie Beks"
"O we will, don't you worry."

We all got into the car and were ready to go.

The drive to the dress shop was filled with laughing and singing to music. I sat next to Lila at her request and we had a great time.

"Auntie Bek's what is a bachelorette party?"
"Where did you hear that?" Laura asked, looking at her.

"Auntie Nat said it. What is it?"

"Well, it is a party that girls have before they get married."

"Are you going to have one?"

"Yes, she is having one," Nat told her.

"Can I come?"

"Well the party your Auntie Nat has planned is super late and I don't think that you would have a lot of fun. Plus they want to go on a trip for it. But how about this? Before we leave we have another party that is just us girls and we can have a slumber party.
