I lied
I picked a horror one instead
I'm gonna get killed after this but
Have fun while it lasts, I guess
"Ryu, are u sure u picked the right one?" Chaeryeong asked.
"Yes" I lied.
As if on cue, a ghost popped out, causing them to scream.
"RYUJIN I SAID NO HORROR" Chaeryeong yelled.
"Ah, my finger must have slipped" I said.
"Shin Ryujin. Turn it off. Now." She demanded.
"Mm no" I said.
"Yeji unnie, can u turn it off?" She begged.
Just then another jumpscare appeared, making Yeji cling onto my arm.
"CAN SOMEONE JUST. TURN IT OFF" Lia yelled from the back.
I felt Yeji move then suddenly the screen went black.
"Oh c'mon" I whined. "It was just getting to the good part"
"Nope. We are not doing that again." Yeji said as she dragged me to the game machines.
"Oooo air hockeyyy"
"Winner gets free lunch on Monday" Yuna said.
"But the tournament's on Monday"
"Tuesday then!"
"And Tuesday"
"Wednesday!"
"YOU'RE ON"
No POV
The two Shins started competing in air hockey with Chaeryeong being the referee.
Meanwhile, Yeji and Lia were playing with the claw machines.
"This thing's rigged" Lia complained out of frustration.
"U just realized?" Yeji replied. "What are u even trying to get?"
"That sloth plushie" Lia responded.
"Oh my god" Yeji sighed.
"Why don't u try!" Lia exclaimed.
"Sure" Yeji replied.
It only took Yeji one try to get the sloth plushie Lia spent the last 10 minutes trying to get.
"Howww" Lia whined as Yeji handed her the plushie.
"Say 'thank u'" Yeji demanded.
"Thank uuuuu" Lia said as she snatched the plushie out of her best friend's hands.
"HAH TAKE THAT" They heard someone yell.
"Well guess they're done" Lia said as she pulled Yeji towards the air hockey table.
"U need it anyway" Yuna said.
"Rude" Ryujin replied.
"I'm hungry" Chaeryeong said.
"U got here 30 minutes ago" Ryujin said.
"Still" Chaeryeong replied.
"I'm hungry as well" Lia said.
"We just finished eating 30 minutes ago what the fu-" Ryujin was about to say when Yeji covered her mouth.
"There is a child-"
"I AM NOT A CHILD" Yuna yelled.
"Chill" Ryujin said as she pulled Yeji's hand away.
"I saw a café down the street" Chaeryeong said as she pulls Ryujin and Yuna with her. "Let's go there"
"I did not agree to this" Ryujin mumbled.
"Hey wait up!" They heard Lia yell.
"Run faster" Ryujin whispered, with a smirk.
The three of them then bolted out of the mall, earning looks from the people around, but they couldn't care less.
"Hah! I won again" Ryujin said when they reached the café.
"No fair! U had a head start!" Yuna whined.
"That's on your slow reaction" Ryujin argued.
"Let's go in" Chaeryeong said, pushing the door open.
The trio entered the café and chose a table big enough for 5 people.
"It smells nice" Yuna said.
"It's the smell of coffee" Chaeryeong said.
"No shit Sherlock" Ryujin retorted.
Earning a smack on the arm, she realized Yeji had arrived.
"Where's Lia?" She asked.
"She kept dragging me around today to I left her behind" Yeji replied, earning a snicker from Ryujin.
"Oop, here she comes"
"Why did u guys leave me?!" Lia yelled. "That's the second time today!"
"You're slow" Ryujin and Yeji replied in unison.
"Where's the other two?" Lia asked.
"Ordering, duh" Ryujin replied.
"They didn't wait for me!"
