(They both look like they just wanna go home 😭)

(Also updates might be slow cus my school work's piling up)

Running into the hospital, he asks the receptionist where Dr Park is. He saw her full name on the clipboard on front of Ryujin's bed earlier.

After confirming her whereabouts, she should be having lunch at the cafeteria. He made his way through the big hospital and eventually found the cafeteria.

The place was packed with patients and their family members, eating while chatting.

He found the doctor eating some bread at a corner. Making his way through the people, he informed the doctor, "I think I know why my sister's blood pressure dropped"

"Why?" She asked.

"The bandage on her foot, it was an old one yesterday, she's probably used it for awhile before changing it" He said.

"So u mean, bacterial infection?" She confirmed.

"Yeah, pretty much" He replied.

The doctor thanked him for the information and insisted he should have lunch already.

He went up to Ryujin's room and opened the door quietly. He saw that both the girls have fallen asleep in a cute position. He took his phone out and snapped a photo before waking them up for lunch.

While they were eating, Dr Park entered the room, "Am I interrupting something?"

"No, it's ok" Ryujin replied.

"Alright, Ms Shin. I'm just here to inform u that you'll have to be hospitalized for about a week, but if ur condition recovers sooner than that, u will be discharged" The doctor said.

"I can still play sports after that, right?" Ryujin asked.

As much as she's happy that it wouldn't be longer, she's still concerned for her career.

"Yes, as long as you've recovered" Dr Park replied.

They thanked the doctor and continued with their meal after she left.

A few days passed after Ryujin was sent to the hospital. She made a speedy recovery, and was able to leave the hospital earlier.

Yeji and Minjun had already left LA and returned back to Korea before she was discharged as they had a lot to catch up on back there.

Now Ryujin was laying in bed, unable to fall asleep again.

She pulled her earphones out and listened to some music on her phone, hoping it would help her fall asleep.

A few songs later, she was finally feeling sleepy. She checked the time, seeing as it was 2am, she turned off the music and went to bed.

Morning came, Ryujin did her usual routine, going out early for breakfast and sneaking past the watchman to get back in.

When she reached her dorm, her dormmates were still sleeping soundly, blankets over their heads and hugging pillows.

She quickly took a shower and got ready for their morning lessons, not forgetting to check if she had finished all her homework.

Soon after, her friends' alarms went off, waking them up a few seconds later.

As usual, they turned the alarms off and Winter continued her slumber as Lisa got up to shower.

"Don't faint again" She said as she walked past the girl.

"I don't have an injured ankle this time" Ryujin countered.

They didn't realize her ankle had a wound the last time, causing a bacterial infection.

Lisa pulled out some clothes and slammed the bathroom door close, making Winter groan.

Ryujin chuckled and continued waiting for her friends to get ready.

"Thank u coach!" The players thanked.

Today was the first day of their monthly intensive training week, and let's just say, they were not ready for it this time.

Their laps doubled and their drills intensified, as if they were preparing for war.

Everyone's muscles were sore after the training, sitting down and stretching after the routine was over.

"I can't tell if I regret coming here or not" Ryujin commented, stretching her leg muscles.

"Well, if u get an opportunity like this, who wouldn't agree, right?" Lisa said.

"U just wanna sleep" Winter said to Ryujin.

"Shut up"

The three continued their random conversations as they were stretching, having a fixed stretching routine that they were all to familiar with, they didn't even have to think what came next.

At the end of the day, the all return to their dorms and do whatever they want, leaving the academy would be and exception, of course.

Ryujin wasn't sure how long she would be here, but one thing was for sure, she couldn't wait to go back to Korea and see her friends again.

(A short chapter that probably doesn't add up but my brain is already empty rn)
