Training here, at the academy, made Ryujin realize a few things. One of them being why they chose players of high stamina to be here.

They were also like fish out of water, they were in a place filled with Americans, Europeans, etc.

There was the trouble of understanding what the coach was saying, but they were doing quite well, thanks to Lisa.

Their training was definitely not the easiest, laps before training drills were normal, yes, but they weren't quite used to training every day.

It started off as tough for a few individuals, not having completely adapted to the hectic schedule, but they slowly got used to it.

As the days went by, Ryujin started missing her friends more. She missed how they would annoy her every day.

She also wondered how those whom already graduated are doing, she's never really asked, since she's often too tired to actually talk to them for long.

She's only ever asked Yeji, who's currently taking medicine at university.

The girl would always remind her to have a healthy sleep schedule so she wouldn't get too worn out the next day, to have balanced meals, although they don't really get to pick what to eat.

She'd always look out for her, even though they were miles apart, they'd never fail to show each other affection.

Sometimes, when one of them are having a bad day, they'd either video call, or just a simple voice call, to get to vent about their feelings.

And they'd send each other pictures if they ever do anything fun, making the other jealous, but at the end of the day, they'd never hate each other.

Chaeryeong and Yuna, on the other hand, Ryujin was pretty sure they started dating after she left. They probably didn't even make the effort to hide it, considering their social media posts were often them together, doing couple things.

She even congratulated them, and they never denied it, so she supposed they were a thing now.

And of course, with all that, came studying. Ryujin wasn't the most intellectual, but she got a few A's in the semester.

She's improved quite a lot in English, enough to be able to understand what people are saying.

Words with deep meanings weren't the easiest for her to learn, as she often confuses them with other words, so she supposed learning basic English was enough to get around.

She was taking a stroll around the neighborhood near the academy, hoping to buy a few snacks at a local convenience store on the way.

That's when she saw a familiar group, and although their backs were turned against her, she was sure who they were.

She took a closer look, concluded that she was just seeing things, and went on her way.

Before she could take a step, though, her phone rang, showing Yeji's name on the screen.

Hearing the sudden sound, a boy turned around, shocked to see her there, behind them.

"Ryujin!" He exclaimed, pulling her into a tight hug, maybe, a little too tight.

"Omfg I can't breath" She said as she tapped his back.

"We were just gonna call u!" He shared.

"Already did, actually" A girl said, pulling her into yet, another tight hug.

"I missed u, idiot" The girl mumbled into her ear.

The made her feel things, no, it wasn't butterflies- well it probably was, but it was more intense, like nuclear bombs being dropped into her stomach.

Over-exaggerating, yes, but to her, it was just the right way to describe it.

She hasn't felt the feeling of being hugged with love for awhile, maybe that was what made the feeling how it was.

"Shin Ryujin!" She heard another voice call out, and hugged her.

Wow, she was receiving a lot of hugs that day.

"Class was a lot more boring without ur dumb ass" The girl shared.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment" Ryujin questioned.

"I guess" Another girl said.

Now she's squished in between four people.

"Can I go now?" She asked.

"U don't miss us?" Yeji asked, jokingly.

"I have a curfew and I'm hungry so like-" She said. "I'm gonna go buy some snacks and head back"

"Awh" Her brother exhaled. "When are u free?"

"Uhhh- tomorrow?" She replied.

"Great! We'll meet here tomorrow, alright bye!" Yuna exclaimed, not giving her a choice.

She knew she'll get bombarded with questions if she leaves early in the morning, but she wouldn't if she brings them along.

"Ryuddaeng" Yeji called.

As she turned around, the girl left a soft peck on her lips and ran back to the others.

God, she's still down bad for her.

She quickly bought some snacks and went back to the academy, for the sake of not getting lectured.

She laid in bed, thinking about how tomorrow would go.

Having already informed the group that Winter and Lisa would tag along, she's now left with convincing them to come.

They usually wouldn't wake up early if it wasn't for going to class or training.

To her surprise, they agreed immediately.

Guess they missed their friends as well.
