The girls made it into the final match.

They were up against last year's champion, whom they also lost to in one of the previous matches.

(This situation actually happened to my school once and I still don't believe it)

They did a team briefing before heading to do warm ups.

"That one girl keeps staring at me" Ryujin whispered to her best friend. "I feel like she's killing me in her mind"

Chaeryeong chuckled. "Maybe she likes u"

"Highly unlikely" Ryujin replied.

"I see u picked up a few things from ur lessons" Chaeryeong teased.

"Shut up" Ryujin uttered before putting her focus back on warming up.

3 minutes before the match, their coach called them back for yet another team briefing.

"Our lineup will be the same. Their's will most likely be as well, so I need all of u to put ur all into this match and show them that our training has not gone to waste" Coach Park said. "Even if you're tired, I need u to keep running. And most importantly, keep ur eyes on the ball and be aware of ur surroundings"

They did a team chant and the whistle sounded.

The first lineup went in front of the scoring table, showing them the numbers on their backs.

Once the referee went to the middle of the court with the ball, the players followed him.

4 minutes into the game and it was already intense.

Both teams were stacking up point after point, the winner of this match could not be predicted yet.

Both teams were strong, despite losing once towards the other team, Jeongyeon and her team were confident.

A few moments after, they heard cheers. Cheers that they had never heard before in the previous matches.

Ryujin looked to the side, surprised to see their school's boy's team, together with some students from their school, cheering on them.

Now she felt pumped up, and she was sure all of her teammates were.

She saw all of them with small smiles plastered on their faces.

They all had one thing in mind.

'We will win this tournament'

There are five players from each team allowed on the court. The five that have more determination in winning naturally plays better. But it's not all that. It also requires skill. The skill that these players have spent their highschool years honing.

Sure, their opponents had more seniors than them, more experience. But that doesn't mean they don't have a couple genius players on their team.

Some use their brains, to think of a strategy to counter the opponent.

Some simply have the speed to escape their opponents' blocks.

Some have accuracy, being able to score points for their team.

But the most important thing in a team sport, is obviously, teamwork.

From the passing of every ball to the team's formation, it's all teamwork. It's the trust they have built throughout the years of training together.

The team that has better teamwork, would be the better team at the end of the day.

It doesn't matter if u won the tournament if u don't have teamwork.
