Ryujin woke up with a pounding head. She realized she was in a hospital bed.

She examines the whole room, all she sees is white. The white walls, the white windows, the white bed, the white couch, the person dressed in white sleeping on the couch.

Wait, a person.

Judging by the figure, she knew it was a female. She wanted to call out to the person, however, her voice wouldn't leave her throat. She could only wait for the girl to wake up. Or, she could wake her up.

Sitting up, she hung her legs over the bed, stepping on the floor, her legs felt numb. She noticed a white bandage wrapped around her right foot, probably because of her injured ankle.

She slowly made her way to the couch, using the IV pole as support. She scanned the girls face, only to realize it was Yeji.

The girl was supposed to be on a flight back to Korea today.

Deciding not to wake the girl up, she checked her phone. She found messages from her friends, and a few calls from Yeji. The fifth call, however, was picked up by someone. Definitely not her, but someone else picked it up.

She recalled where she fainted, remembered Winter was taking a shower. The girl probably picked up the call and brought her here.

Still in deep thought, she wanted to know why she fainted. She didn't do anything overly exhausting, definitely didn't get hit by anything or anyone, so why? Why did she faint? It couldn't have been fatigue, couldn't have been a concussion, so why?

"Ryuddaeng?" She heard Yeji call from the couch that was now behind her.

The girl hugged her from behind, gently squeezing her waist. Ryujin caressed the girl's hand, it was cold.

"Ur hands are cold" She said, voice coming out as barely a whisper.

The difference in their temperatures were huge. Like an oasis in a desert, Ryujin's warmth took over Yeji's hand.

"I was waiting for u to wake up" Yeji mumbled into her neck.

She didn't have to wait. She could be on her way back to Korea, but she chose to stay. But how about her education?

"You're supposed to be going back to Korea" Ryujin said, voice still small.

"But I can't just leave u here" Yeji replied, melting the other girls heart.

It was unusual for someone to care so much for her, especially after she entered the academy. The only people who would genuinely care for her were Lisa and Winter, the others couldn't care less. They wouldn't care, not until they've felt the same feeling.

"I'll get the doctor" Yeji said, leaving a soft peck on her cheek.

After Yeji went out of the door, she sat down on the bed, continuing what she was doing.

A few moments later, the door opened. It wasn't Yeji, wasn't the doctor, or a nurse, but her brother.

"How're u feeling?" He asked, a concerned look on his face.

He hadn't been the closest to her, especially since she hadn't met him for long, but he seems to care for her more than he cares for himself.

"I'm okay, my head just hurts a little" She replied, her voice finally coming back a little.

He gave her a small smile, patting her head.

"Well that's good" He said, bringing a smile to Ryujin's lips.

Just then, the door opened again, this time, it was Yeji, and a woman dressed in white followed behind her. She supposed it was the doctor.

"Hello, Miss Shin. How are u feeling?" She asked.

White. That's how she feels. Her brain could barely take any thoughts, her view filled with white. Everything was white. She could barely even feel her body.

"My head's pounding a little, but nothing too bad" She opted for.

"Okay... How do ur legs feel?" The doctor asked again.

"Numb" She simply replied.

Taking notes, she glanced at the boy beside Ryujin.

"And this is...?" She asked.

"I'm her brother" He said with a smile.

"A family member. I'll need to talk to u" The doctor said.

Minjun nodded. He followed her out of the room, closing the door behind them.

After they left, Yeji sat on the bed, next to Ryujin. She pulled her into a hug, resting the girl's head on her chest.

Ryujin hugged back, closing her eyes. She enjoyed the comfort Yeji's hugs bring.

----

"Mr Shin, I just have to inform u about ur sisters condition" The doctor said.

"Sure, before that, what should I call u?" He asked. He always wants a proper way to address someone before talking to them.

"Dr. Park" She replied.

"Alright, Dr. Park. How is my sister doing?" He asked.

"Well, as u may know, she fainted"

"Yes"

"Well, she fainted because her blood pressure suddenly dropped. Her blood pressure is still low at the moment. She'll have to be hospitalized until her blood pressure returns to normal" Dr. Park concluded.

"And... How long would that be?" Minjun asked.

"It depends on the cause of it, but it still remains unknown, as the girl that brought her here doesn't know how it happened either" Dr. Park replied. "And judging by her reaction, she probably has no idea why she even fainted"

"Alright.... But can I at least pay for the bill while I'm here?" He asked.

"We're not sure how much it would cost sir, as her days here are still unknown" Dr Park said.

"Alright, then, when she's discharged, please, tell her to charge it to my account" Minjun pleaded.

"Will do" Dr Park said. "I'll take my leave now"

Minjun nodded, heading back into the room after she left.

"I'll go get lunch, what do u guys want?" He asked the girls.

"Anything's fine" Ryujin replied, still cuddled with Yeji.

"Alright then" He said and left the room, leaving the two alone.

----

Walking down the streets, he couldn't help but think, why would Ryujin's blood pressure just suddenly drop?

He tries to think of the causes to low blood pressure, but none of them lead up to Ryujin's condition.

It couldn't have been dehydration, he was sure that Lisa and Winter would have reminded her to drink water. Moreover if Ryujin had heart problems, she wouldn't be able to play basketball in the first place.

He keeps thinking and thinking, but before he knew it, he had reached his destination.

He ordered some take away from a café, still deep in thought while waiting for the food to be prepared.

Then it hit him. Ryujin had a white bandage wrapped around one of her feet. A brand new bandage that was most likely replaced that morning.

He quickly payed for the food after it was prepared and ran out of the door, taking the white plastic with him.
