We won, of course

"Wooooooo, that was a nice game" Chaeyeong sighed.

"Oh damn it's cold" Heejin said, grabbing her windbreaker as she sat down.

"Alright, pack your things, we're going over to the bleachers" Coach Park said. "U have another game at noon so don't get hurt. You'll have a light lunch later"

Aaaaand it's 10. So we have to wait another like 2 hours for the next game.

"Ryu!" I heard Lisa yell.

"What?" I asked.

"Wanna know the stats??" She replied, smirking.

"U bet!" I said as I dragged her towards our manager.

"Yuqiiiiiii" Lisa whined, earning a hum from our manager. "Can we see the stats???"

"Oh yeah, hold on" she replied as she put down a few bags that I can confirm are ours but we were too lazy to bring it over ourselves.

No POV

Yuqi pulled out a notebook and handed it over to Lisa.

"Don't tear any pages" she warned.

"We won't" Lisa replied.

"U always say that and end up almost wrecking the book" the manager argued.

"We won't this time!"

"U said that everytime!"

While the two were busy arguing, Ryujin had looked at the statistics.

"HAH I WON" Ryujin yelled.

"What do u- WHAT HOWWW" Lisa exclaimed as she saw the total game points. "Show me your wayssss"

"They got double digit points and are still fighting" Chaeryeong said, eyeing them from afar.

"Cheer up" Jeongyeon said. "No. 8 was pretty much chasing u anyways"

"If only they didn't"

"The fact that they did means you're a strong player"

"They didn't chase Ryujin 'cause she's too fast—" Heejin butted in, getting smacked by Hyunjin.

"She's already upset, don't make it worse" Hyunjin nagged.

"Yah! I'd be proud if I got chased like that" Chaeyoung said, eating a banana.

"It's a pain" Chaeryeong replied.

"We can try screen and roll next match" Chaeyoung suggested.

"It depends who we're up against" Jeongyeon said.

"Whatcha talkin' 'bout?" Ryujin asked.

"HOLY F-" Chaeryeong exclaimed. "Stop doing that!"

"Doing what?!" Ryujin questioned. "And stop smacking me!"

"Alright, alright enough. Coach said don't get hurt" Jeongyeon intervened.

"I punched her before and she was fine!" Chaeryeong exclaimed.

"It was a weak punch—" Ryujin was about to say when she got a punch in the stomach by Chaeryeong.

"...ow?"

"See what I mean?"

"She just doesn't have the heart to punch u, Ryu" Lisa said.

"Yep" Soyeon said.

"Time for lunch!" Their coach yelled.

"Welp, let's go!" Heejin ran to the cafeteria first.

"Hey! Wait up!" Ryujin ran after her.

"Sigh, kids" Jeongyeon sighed.

"What we havin'?" Lisa asked as she reached the group.

"Just normal cafeteria food" Chaeyoung replied.

"It tastes better than our school's" Heejin said.

"I agree" Hyunjin agreed.

"You're all just hungry" their coach said.

"...I guess" Heejin mumbled.

"How does it taste?" Lisa asked Ryujin.

"Like rice. With vegetables and meat" Ryujin replied. "I don't think this is light"

"Don't eat it all if u can't. Bring the leftovers home" Jeongyeon said.

"Alright"

After they had lunch, they still had another 30 minutes before their next match.

"Alright, this match determines our next opponent. Make sure u warm up properly and be aware of ur surroundings when on court" their coach said.

"Alright coach" they all said and started doing warm ups.

"Ryujin? Aren't u gonna do warm ups?" Their coach asked.

"I'm a bit full" Ryujin said.

Well, she wasn't lying at all. She had eaten more than what she regularly has, it would take awhile to digest all that food.

"Alright, let me know if you're not feeling well" Coach Park said.

"Okay" Ryujin replied.

After a few minutes, Ryujin got up, ready to start warming up.

"We have 10 minutes left, Ryu. Hurry up!" Lisa yelled.

"Got it!" Ryujin yelled back.
