The match started
Their coach decided to use the same line up as the previous match
"Jeongyeon!" Chaeyoung called out.
She then passed the ball towards her teammate, who then ran towards the hoop while dribbling the ball.
She passed the ball towards Ryujin, who was about to score a three pointer.
"Shiii-" Ryujin sighed, being unable to jump, she scored over the defender's head instead.
A substitute player was called on. Coach Park replaced Ryujin, seeing that she was hurt.
Ryujin sat down on the chair, panting.
"Can u move ur foot?" Yuqi asked.
"A bit" Ryujin replied.
The defender had stepped on Ryujin's shoelaces, stopping her from jumping, spraining her ankle.
Hyunjin came back with a pain relief spray, handing over to their manager.
"This'll hurt a little" Yuqi warned before she started rotating Ryujin's foot after using the spray.
"It's okay" Ryujin said.
"Oh yeah?" Yuqi replied, bending the other's foot with more force.
"Ah! Ok that hurts!" Ryujin yelled.
"Don't break her foot we still need her to play later" Heejin said.

The second quarter passed
Ryujin being able to run again, she was allowed on court.
"They're probably gonna be on Ryujin's tail so I need all of u to work together and only pass the ball to her when she's open" Coach Park said.
They all nodded before the whistle sounded, indicating that they need to be on the court.
This time, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Winter, Heejin and Lisa are playing.
"I feel old" Lisa said.
"U are" Heejin and Ryujin both replied.
Lisa rolled her eyes and the game started.
As the game went on, the opponent kept making mistakes, resulting in a foul.
A free throw was then awarded to Ryujin, as the opponent made too many fouls.
She easily scored the free throw and went on with the match.
As the quarter came to an end, both teams were tied.

"This is impossible!" Chaeryeong exaggerated.
"It's okay, as long as we win this match, I'll be proud of all of u" Coach Park comforted them.
Hearing those words from their coach was special to them. She never really says anything when they're doing great. This is probably the first time.
"ALL RIGHT LET'S WIN THIS" Lisa yelled.
The quarter started with the same line up as the last quarter.

The points kept stacking up as the match goes on.

As the match was nearing it's end, both teams were tied.

With 3 seconds left, Lisa passed the ball to Ryujin, who then shot a three pointer.

The timer went off as the ball was still in the air.
Both teams stared at the ball, hoping for opposite results.
The ball shot straight into the hoop.
"RYUJINNNNNNNN" Heejin yelled as she ran towards her friend.
They then did a group hug, despite being sweaty.
That was their last match of the day.
They shook hands with their opponents and headed back to their own school.
"It's oddly quiet in here" Yuqi said as she turned towards the back of the van.
"They're all knocked out" Coach Park said, earning a chuckle from the manager.

The team reached their school and got off the van.
"Alright, you're going against tougher opponents tomorrow, make sure u get enough rest tonight" Coach Park said.

Ryujin POV
I'm so tired
My body is sore and my ankle still hurts a little bit.
Arghhh
I can't wait to go home and sleep
Although I already slept in the van
I just finished refilling my bottle when I heard the bell ring. Must be the last bell of the day.
I closed my bottle and walked towards the school gate.
"Ryujin!" I heard a voice yell.
"Hm?" I hummed as I turned my head towards the voice.
"Did u win??" Yeji, Lia and Yuna asked.
"Yeah" I said, smiling.
"Where's Ryeong?" Yuna asked.
"Chaeyeon unnie took her home" I replied.
"Luckyyy. My mom is busy today" Yuna said, pouting.
"Walking isn't that bad" Lia said.
"She lives really far from here" I said.
"How far?" Lia asked.
"Probably in another district? Idk" I replied.
"Why'd u choose to come here then?" Yeji asked Yuna.
"Cus Ryeong and Ryujin unnie both come here" Yuna simply replied. "I don't wanna be alone"
I chuckled. "Take the bus then. I have to go home now, I'm tired"
"Alright, byeeeee" they said.
"Bye" I replied, waving.
