After the defeat of Zamasu at the hands of MF/n, the Saiyans returned to the past. They were now currently resting and enjoying the company of everyone around them.
Future Trunks: Father, Goku, Y/n, Gohan... Thank you all, so very much.
Y/n: There's no need to thank us, Trunks. I told you before, I would die for you. Hell, I did in your timeline.
Gohan: Yeah, Trunks, we're always here for you.
Vegeta: Hmph... Indeed.
Goku: It's no problem at all!
Vegeta: Just... Try and contact us sooner if something that bad happens again.
Future Trunks: Right! ... Well, I should be heading back.
Y/n suddenly pulls Future Trunks into a hug, catching him off guard.
Y/n: Be safe little brother. I love you.
Future Trunks hugs Y/n back and has a flashback to his own timeline's Y/n.
~ Flashback ~
Y/n and Gohan had just finished training Trunks when a huge explosion occurs in the middle of the city.
Y/n: That was close to Capsule Corporation...
Gohan: We have to stop those androids!
Trunks: Wait, guys! Take me with you, I can-
Gohan: Trunks, I'm sorry but no.
Trunks: Y-Y/n...! Please let me help!
Y/n pulls Trunks into a hug and ruffles his hair.
Y/n: I love you, little bro. I'm sorry.
With that, he karate chops Trunks in the neck, knocking him out.
Y/n: We can't let you die... You're our last hope, our living legacy.
He looks over to Gohan and they both nod before taking off after the androids.
~ Flashback End ~
Future Trunks tears up.
Future Trunks: I'm so glad you're alive in this timeline... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...
Y/n: Don't be sorry bro. You're my little brother, and come hell or high water, I'll protect you.
He releases Future Trunks and ruffles his hair.
Y/n: Don't you ever forget that your big brother is here for you.
Future Trunks: R-right...
Gohan: Goodbye, Trunks.
Vegeta: Hmph, later.
Goku: See you later!
Bulma: Bye Trunks, be safe! Take good care of Mai and my future grandbabies!
Future Trunks blushes lightly and hops into his time machine and Y/n flies up as the time machine raises into the sky. Y/n waves goodbye and Trunks smiles and chuckles as he returns to the future.
Bulma: Y/n, that was very sweet of you.
Y/n: I... I just spoke the truth, I would never be absent should Trunks need me.
???: Y/n Briefs!
Y/n turns to the source of the voice and sees Lord Beerus and Whis, who had just returned from Universe 10.
Beerus: We took care of Zamasu on our end, how about you?
Y/n: Let's just say he couldn't handle the combined might of rivals.
Beerus: And by that you mean...?
Whis: Ah! You must mean the Fusion technique, yes?
Y/n nods.
Beerus: And... What of Y/n Black?
Y/n: A timeline where Zamasu stole my body.
Beerus: He stole your body, did he? Strange, he was awful uppity about mortals.
Y/n: I'm just glad it's behind us. Lord Beerus?
Beerus: Hm? Yes, what is it?
Y/n: I would like to invite you to my wedding.
Beerus: What now? You want a Destroyer God to attend your wedding?
Y/n: That's right. I would appreciate it if Whis came as well. And of course, I can guarantee the tastiest of feasts.
Beerus: Tasty? Feast? Well, you could have led with that Saiyan!
He laughs and Y/n smiles at him.
