Milo was sitting in a booth writing down poetry they learned from Kyle, while Autumn was talking to Kelsey. River was there cleaning the other tables up and noticed him writing.
"What are you writing? May i see?" they asked.
"Yes." he said as he handed the paper to them.
River was holding the paper skimming through it, they got a papercut. Milos eyes widened and smelled the blood.
"Dammit! One moment!" River exclaimed.
Milo covered their mouth and nose trying to not go near them. Autumn turned around and realized that River bled in front of Milo. She gasped.
"Milo! Hold on Kelsey.." Autumn exclaimed.
she grabbed his other hand and took him outside.
"Hey! Are you okay?!" she asked.
"Yes.. im fine.. can i stay here for a bit please?" he asked with a short breath.
"Yeah." she replied. "I'm gonna go back inside and get your stuff okay?"
Milo nodded.
"What was that all about?! Does he have asthma or something?" Kelsey questioned.
Autumn looked back in the window to Milo, and turned back around.
"Milo.. is a vampire.." she said then sighed.
Kelsey and River gasped in sync. Only Autumn and the king knew about Milo.
"I didn't know.. I need to apologize." River said.
"he needs a moment. He told me about 15 minutes.." Autumn said.
"Do you only know?.. " Kelsey asked. " they could be executed. "
"The king knows. Its okay, he told me that the king got a doctor to come every month, and a stabilizer." she said.
"I'll go check on him." Autumn says.
She walked to the door and opened it.
"Are you okay? Do you need me to grab something?" she asked.
"Im okay now. Tell River to wrap their finger before i go in please. " Milo requested.
Autumn opened the door halfway,
"River! Cover your finger!" she yelled.
River went to grab a first aid kit and wrapped gauze on their finger.
Milo walked in.
"Relax, i don't bite." he said.
Autumn gave him a look and made a face.
"You told them didn't you?" Milo said with his hand on his face.
