Special Chapter (1)

Rain's P.O.V:

I woke up to the sunlight coming through the curtains so I turned on my side to sleep a bit more.

"Time to wake up" P'Payu said as he played with my hair.

"No...I still want to sleep" I said lazily.

"Aren't you hungry though? You haven't eaten anything at all yesterday" He said.

I opened my eyes and blinked twice then rested my head on his lap.

"Not hungry" I said.

Then closed my eyes again.

He chuckled and started playing with my hair again.

"I still have to go to work though" He said.

I sighed heavily and opened my eyes then reached out and touched his cheek with my fingertips.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing" I said smiling.

Then sat up.

"I get it...I'll go make breakfast" I said.

"Oh you don't have to I already got it done" He said.

I was still not used to the French whereabouts so naturally I had a hard time finding the grocery stores and other important places.

"Tell you what...How about you make dinner instead? I'll even let you improvise" He said smiling.

I smiled and nodded then stood up.

He stood up and put a hand on my shoulder then we walked out of the room together.

We sat down to eat breakfast together then he left the house.

God damn it...

What am I supposed to do with my life?

I sat down on the sofa and started watching TV to pass the time.

So boring...

After sometime of doing nothing I decided to go get some groceries.

I put on a thick jacket when I noticed that it was snowing.

I put my hand out and looked up at the sky as the snow fell into my open hand.

So pretty...

I smiled at the snowflakes I had in my hand.

But looked down when I felt someone tugging at my pant side.

I saw that it was a child of about seven so I took out my phone and opened the translation app to understand him.

"Hey mister...It's snowing aren't you feeling cold? You're too old to play with snow aren't you?" The little boy asked.

I smiled and knelt down in front of him.

"I might look too old to play but it's also the first time for me to see the snow with my own eyes...I just find it pretty" I said and the app translated it from Thai to French.
