She grinned slightly as he pushed her into the wall, his lips tasted slightly of spliff and butter beer. The Hufflepuffs were back to their moral boosting shenanigans, a welcome back party. Her fingers tugged gently on the low hanging curls of his long hair, a soft groan slipping from his throat. His hands squeezing her waist softly as he pressed into her, closing whatever distance was left between there bodies. Their lips moving in sync, his tongue gently nudging between hers. "Soooo this is what it's like to be a third wheel." Delvin sang, making the two pull apart.

Their lips swollen and cheeks tinted pink. "Fuck off, Del!" Sutton grinned at him, "It's practically a throuple, at this point considering you're involved with all our drama."

Regulus tucked his face into the crook of her neck where it meets the shoulder. Chuckling soundlessly, "What the bloody hell is a throuple?"

"Oh sweetie," Delvin cooed, "we'll explain it when you're not high."

The three smiled at each other before Delvin locked eyes with a panicking Clarity, "I've found my next victim to grace my presence with. Please use protection. Try not to fuck up against the wall for your first time." Delvin laughed.

Sutton and Regulus laughed along with him, he was a certain character in their lives they both couldn't see themselves without. No matter how short of a time that Regulus had known him. Delvin was a breath of fresh air. Regulus straightened out slightly, still grasping onto Sutton with a gentle yet firm grip, a smile on his face as he gazed down at her. Her eyes shining bright and gold as she ran her nails against his scalp. She pulled him closer as she stood on her toes and pressed her lips to his again. For the moment, she just wanted to enjoy a sense of normality. A moment they could pretend that they were the only two in the room.

Clarity was almost shaking by the time Delvin planted himself fully in front of her with a joint in one hand and a glass of fire whiskey in the other. Her eyes locked onto his calm and familiar face. "Ello! You looked so lonely I had to come and welcome you to the party!" Delvin cheered, gesturing with his whiskey glass.

"Oh! Uh hello, I uh, I just, I-"

"Don't be so nervous, here slam this back and try to relax. Sutton didn't bite ya, did she? As her best friend I'll have to bite her back if she did." He tried to be as calming as possible for her, possibly break the ice to help make her feel comfortable, even as he shoved his whiskey into her hands. "Bottoms up!"

Clarity shot the drink back, as instructed. She wanted to experience a party, and she'd tried to go to them before but her anxiety always got in the way. The random voice in her head that sounded like her often told her how people were staring, that their hushed conversations were about her. And she knew that it wasn't always the case but it was so fucking hard to ignore. And here was an extroverted guy who hung around pretty much whoever he felt like, trying to make her comfortable. Her eyes flickered around the room, several girls and some guys looked slightly peeved that he had brushed passed them and that he was wasting his time on her, but looking back at his grey eyes, she couldn't help but feel relieved. The burn from the drink was practically nonexistent to her, her anxiety had lit all her nerves on fire.

She felt underdressed in a pair of Levi denim shorts and a plain white tee. Delvin was dressed in a pair of dark jeans that hugged his form, and a black button up. From what she'd seen of Sutton, she was wearing a emerald green slip dress and some fishnet stockings with a pair of black heels. And Regulus wore the same type of pants as Delvin but with a green button down. Most of the other girls were wearing dresses and skirts, every now and again she'd see a girl with a pair of jeans on. "Aye, breathe. Focus on me. Fuck everyone else." Delvin's voice snapped Clarity out of her head.

"Sorry. I uh haven't ever been to a party before. It's....a lot different than expected." Clarity said, her eyes shifting around still.

The loud music of KISS filling the room. He took a hit of his joint and held it out to her. She eyed it cautiously before taking an adventurous hit that burnt her lungs and made her choke for air. "Easy now, easy does it."

Delvin smiled at her, taking it back from her and taking another drag. The action repeating until the joint was burnt out. Delvin led her out of her little corner and forced her to dance with him. His heart feeling somewhat lighter when she began jumping around and spinning with him, her soft laugh leaving her lips. He loved that he could help her relax. Every now and again his eyes would leave her and linger on his couple. They'd broke away from the wall, breathless and swollen lips, but with large smiles as they danced around with one another. Talking about pointless things and classes. If only life was always so simple.

Regulus practically dragged Sutton out of the Hufflepuff common to the Slytherin one, moving quickly as he did so. Soft laughter escaping her lips as he pulled her through his common room and into his dormitory. Flicking his wand that he had stuffed in his pocket earlier, a silencing spell. He pushed her onto the bed and closed the curtains. Practically climbing on top of her as their lips met. Small giggles bursting from her as he placed feather like kisses up and down her neck. Biting at her jaw and moving his lips back to hers. "I love you." He whispered pulling away. His icy eyes meeting her golden ones.

He looked so vulnerable, and even the sharp features of his face couldn't help but seem soft in that moment. "I love you too."
