After Zade left, Mariah and Sarah invited me to join them at the gazebo in the garden for ice cream and cake.

The night is cool with a slight breeze. The moon is so bright it's reflection radiates on the pool.  I enjoy calm nights like this, it always give me a peace of mind.

"Omg! Guys we should go to a club tomorrow!" Mariah suggests

"Yup, throw that ass in a circle girly." Sarah agrees with Mariah.

I think about my last experience at the club and shake my head. "Yea, I'd rather not."

"Girl be so for real. You're about to get married. You're gonna be tied to that man for life." Mariah tries to prove her point.

I shake my head once again. "I'll make you guys a deal, since I'm not having a honeymoon how about after Zade gets sworn in, we go to a club."

"Oh I think I like you! You're sneaky." Exclaims Sarah

For the rest of the night we talk about some of our dreams and aspirations.

That became our tradition until the night of the rehearsal dinner.

The rehearsal dinner is in four hours and about three people surround me. One man is doing my hair, another is doing my make up, and a lady is painting my toes.

Essy made it clear that I was going to be the center of attention. Zade laid down a few rules for the dress, for example the dress is not allowed to be revealing.

I tried to explain that to Essy, but she told me to ignore it.

Once everyone is finished Essy walks in the room.

"Look at you! You are exquisite."

"Thank you" I reply to her

"Now I know what Zade said about the dress, but in this business us ladies have to make a statement. We do that in three ways: we kill, make ourselves known by instilling fear in others, and we make sure we look damn good." She makes eye contact with me. "You look damn good, and I am going to make sure all those filthy creatures see that."

I smile at her, "so what do you have in mind?"

She walks out the room and returns with a see through dress designed with hundreds of gems.

My eyes widen in shock, "Essy the dress is beautiful but..."

"No buts!" She hangs the dress on the door. "Everyone will be waiting at the hotel for you and I. I'm going to change into my gown and then wait for you in the car downstairs."

"Thank you, the gown really is beautiful."

"Anything for my future daughter."

I put the dress on and silver sandal heels; surprisingly it fit perfect. It hugs me in all the right places and has a beautiful train.
