Zade cleared all of the alcohol that was in the room and replaced them with drinks such as Gatorade, water, and apple juice.

I appreciate the kindness, but I'd really enjoy a scotch, or even a nice glass of wine.

I wince as I get off of the bed and walk towards the bathroom. I'm not one hundred percent sure what day it is, neither do I know how long I've been in this room.

By the amount of times Zade comes in, I can conclude I've been here for a little less than a month.

For the first two weeks I barely moved. The only time I ever got up was to use the bathroom and shower. I barely ate; I substituted food for alcohol, hence why all of the alcohol is no longer in the room.

The alcohol was the only thing keeping my nightmares at bay; now every night I wake up screaming because I think I'm back in that cell.

One night I thought I was being beaten again, it wasn't until Zade shook me that I realized I wasn't with Juno. I was safe.

I feel bad for the amount of times I woke him up, but he refuses to leave my side. Sometimes I don't even realize he's there until he asks me if I need anything.

He tries to give me space when I need it, and comforts me when I need it. I truly couldn't have asked for a better husband.

I wash my face and brush my hair into a low bun. For the first time since I've come back home I enter my closet.

I choose a simple green button down blouse with jeans.

I make my way down the stairs and follow the sound of whispering into Zade's office

I make my way down the stairs and follow the sound of whispering into Zade's office.

"Didn't I say not to kill him yet?" Zade whispers harshly.

"Yea but you also said have fun, and it's been a month and a half.... He had it coming to him. Just glue him back together and finish him when you're ready." Jace says

I furrow my eyebrows, there's no way I stayed in that room for almost two months. I knew it was a long time but I assumed..... I guess my assumption was incorrect.

I straighten my spine and walk into the office. Zade, Milo, and the four stooges a.k.a. (Jace, Jo, Luco, and Javen) all stare at me in shock.

Milo gets out of his seat and offers me the chair. I shake my head and force my self to smile, unfortunately it comes off more as a small smirk.

I swallow hard; I know what I'm about to ask Zade might result in him acting out, but I have to take my chances. I need to understand why Mariah did what she did.

"Can one of you take me to where Mariah is?" I ask

Jace throws his head backwards in frustration, "my God tiny, the first thing you wanna do when you feel okay is to see her? Couldn't it have been a beach, or I don't know, a park. Why her?"
