After all the families left, it was just my family and I; which includes my grandparents and Luke.

"Blair" I heard my mom yell.

I stood up from the basement couch; excused myself from Luke and mines conversation.

I walked up to the living room, and saw my mom.

"yeah mom?" I asked.

the tension suddenly felt way to high; as if you could cut it with a knife.

"Blair can we talk about...you know" my mom spoke, she looked uncomfortable with the situation.

just as I did.

I nodded, sitting on the couch looking straight at her.

"well what do you wanna know?" I ask.

"why didn't you tell me, or Henry? someone who could've helped?" she asked, her voice cracking.

"she would've hurt you guys; or my friends. I didn't want that" I said to her.

I felt like crying, but I wouldn't let myself.

Not anymore because of Tilly.

"she wouldn't of, write could've put her in jail" my mom told me.

I shook my head.

"mom Tilly is wealthy and strong; she could've hired someone" I said.

She did...Kennedy and she hurt my twin siblings.

"Blair do you have something you wanna tell me?" my mom asked concerned.

I took a deep breath. looking at her uneasily and nodded.

"then tell me...I can't be mad at you" she said.

"Kennedy... she's the one who hurt the twins" I croaked, whispering.

My mom looked at me, with the tears welled in her deep brown eyes.

"what?" she whispered.

"Kennedy, she's the one who hurt the twins" I repeated.

"why didn't you tell me?" my mom said, gritting her teeth.

"I didn't know...I didn't know till a week or so ago. but I wasn't sure even then"

"but the look on her face, when Tilly mentioned how my they were doing..it proved it" I cry, finally because I felt horrible.

"I don't want to do anything to hurt them; that's why I have a lawyer. or we whatever. but we wanted to end it the right way" I said, drying up my tears.

My mom looked at me, uneasy.

but she nodded her head.

"Blair fine..but please I'll help you any time" my mom said.

I nodded and smiled a little.

I kissed her cheek, and hugged her tightly.

"I promise this will be over soon" I mumble.

my mom nodded.

"but uhm, I leave with the twins Saturday. . and grandma and grandpa are leaving tomorrow. are you okay alone?" she asked.

"yeah, can I have Nat over?" I ask.

"I don't know Blair, I'll think about it" she said.

I groaned, throwing my head back.
