Chapter 10

(Katie's POV)

Liam and I drove to this beautiful restaurant.  He got out of the car and went around to open the door for me.  He held out his hand, and I took it happily. 

"Name please." said the man at the front. 

"Reservations for Payne." said Liam with his business face on. 

"Oh yes, Mr. Payne right this way." the man said leading us to our table for two.  We sat down and Liam looked at me with a smile on his face. 

"What?" I asked blushing. 

"You look very beautiful tonight." he said blushing as he said it. 

"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself." I said smiling and blushing.  We ordered our food and began to talk about anything that came up.  A few moments later, our food arrived, and we ate while making small talk. 

After we were done eating,  we went across the street to a little park, and went over tot he pond.  The moon's reflection could be seen clearly in the water, and the stars twinkling over us.  It was the perfect setting and I thought that things couldn't get any better.  I was clearly wrong.  Liam looked at me smiling, and then started leaning in.  I of course wasn't going to back away, so I leaned in, our lips brushin, and we shared our first kiss with the moons and stars shining above us. 

(Liam's POV)

After we pulled apart, I couldn't help but put a big grin on my face.  I took her hand, and we entwined our fingers as we walked to the car.  I drove us back to her flat, and when I pulled into the drive way, I got out of the car, and made my way to to her side.  I opened the door for her and held out my hand for her.  She took it, and I walked her to the front door. 

"Thanks for tonight Liam, it was fun." she said smiling. 

"I had fun too." I said.

"I guess I should go home now.  The lads are probably wondering why I'm so late."

I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and went to the car.  As I pulled out of the driveway, I couldn't help but smile at everything that happened tonight.  I was happy that I was over Danielle.  And I'm extremely happy that the person who made me happy was Katie. 

As I closed the door to the flat behind me, I found the house extremely quiet. 

"Hello?" I asked. 

"WHO DARES ENTER MY HOUSE!!" a voice that could only belong to Louis said. 

"Lou, it's not funny, now come out and eat your carrots without trying to scare me."

I said making my way to the kitchen. 

"How'd you know it was me?" Louis says jumping out of the darkness of the kitchen, and making me scream. 

"LOUIS!!!  WHAT WAS THAT FOR??!!!" I said holding my chest, trying to find air. 

"Sorry, I didn't mean too.  Ok, maybe I did, but you've gotta admit it was funny." he said starting to laugh. 

"Who's screaming like a little girl?" Harry asked making his way to the kitchen. 

"That, my friend, is Liam's fangirl moment.  He couldn't believe he saw me, and started fangirling.  Sad right?" he asked while taking a bite of his carrot.  I smiled, and slapped him in the arm playfully as I went to the fridge to get some water. 

"So, how'd it go Li-li?" asked Louis. 

"One, don't call me Li-li.  Two, it went great." I said taking a sip of my water. 

"That's good.  I'm glad you had fun mate." said Harry, who grabbed a slice of leftover pizza and went upstairs. 

"I think I'm going to bed now." I said going upstairs as I said goodnight to Louis.  I went to my room, and hopped in bed.  I closed my eyes, playing back everything that happened, and drifted off to sleep with a smile on my face.
