"He can't do it on command. But it is cool. Show them the zappy thing, Miles" Peter told the boy.
Once again, Miles tries to show off his power but it doesn't work either.

"He can't do it on command. But he can do so much more, like what else do you do..." Peter trailed off.

"Look I've seen him in action. He's got potential. I think he's gonna get us home" Gwen told them.
"And her?" Peter, Miles and Gwen turn to look at Victoria who was now getting back to them.

"She's...Victoria" Peter said, not knowing how to present her to them.
Victoria sent them a smile with her now enlarged fangs showing and her nails sharpening to show them off, the tips of the black painted nails tainted with bright red.
"Cool" Gwen said.
"OK, little fella, Kingpin's gonna send a lot of mugs after ya, I'm talking hard boys, real biscuit boxers. Can you fight them all off at once?" Spider-Noir said.
"Well, I, I haven't actually fought anyone..." Miles said I surely.
"Surprise attack!" Miles tries to fight Noir, but Noir knocks him down. Peni jumps in.
"Can you re-wire a mainframe while being shot at?" she asked him.
"Can I what?"
Victoria stared at the group as they surrounded her nephew. She would let them do what they thought they should, but if they got out of hand, she wouldn't ensure their safety.
"Show me!" Peni said as Spider-Noir did another surprise attack.
"Surprise attack!"
Noir knocks him down again.
"Can you swing and flip with the grace of a trained dancer?" Gwen asked Miles as she flipped over him.
"Can you close off your feelings so you don't get crippled by the moral ambiguity of your violent actions?" Spider-Noir said.
"Can you help your aunt create an online dating profile so she can get out of the dang house once in a while?" Victoria sent aunt May a short look with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Can you float through the air when you smell a delicious pie?" the pig asked.
"Can you be strong?" Gwen asked.
"Ruthless" Peni parker continued.
"Above all, no mater how many times you get hit, can you get back up?" Gwen finished.
"Because when a Spider-Man is on the floor..." Noir.
"...When you think you've given your all..." Gwen.
"...When you think you can't keep going..." Ham.
"Spider-Man always gets up" Noir continues as Miles is knocked down repeatedly. He lies on the ground and sees Peter holding his aunt's upper arms so she didn't rush at the group. Knowing she was both outnumbered and out powered.
"You can do this!" Gwen encourages Miles but keeps her eyes on Victoria.
The woman was only a beginner and less experienced, but Miles had told Gwen that the woman used to do military training on her youth. And that, added to the powers she had strangely gotten, could make her a bit dangerous so you couldn't blame her.
"Get up Miles! Get up!" the rest of the spiders chanted to the young boy.
"Alright guys, cool it..." Peter said from behind Victoria who was now calming down.
"C'mon Miles! Get up!" she herself started to tell her nephew.
The Spiders watch Miles struggle on the floor. He can't get up and concerned looks are exchanged. The Spiders gather in a circle to talk, leaving Miles behind and Victoria was finally released to go help him up.
"Peter, come here. You need to be more honest with yourself about this. He's not ready, it's obvious" Noir said "There's no way. He's just a kid"

"But if he can't do this, we have to stay and do it for him" Gwen said to them.
"He's looking right at us while we talk about him..." a beat passes, then Peter looks to where Miles was and realizes...The elevator is moving up. Victoria stands here, her hand held over empty air so the man sssumed Miles had gone invisible.
"Miles? Miles?" Peter yells after the boys and turns to the other spiders sheepishly "See that? He can uh, turn invisible..."

Miles had his head down in a crestfallen mood as his aunt tried to cheer him up as best as she could. All the spiders see is the shed doors opening way up in the rafters.
"Venga. Vamos a casa" Victoria told him softly, thanking May for her hospitality and leaving together.
As they were walking down the street, she sees how Miles lifts up his phone, checks his messages and carefully looks over his shoulder out of curiosity.
"Miles, what is going on with you? Nobody has heard from you. We don't know what's going on. Look, if you're hiding something from us, you need to come clean. You call me back. Now" she saw her brother in law's contact light up.
Miles picked up his speed and forced his aunt to do the same.

"Adiós tía" he told his aunt with a forced smile.
Once she left, Miles left to go to his uncle's apartment and once he gets there, he climbs up to the rooftop across from Aaron's apartment. As he does we hear audio of a phone ringing.

"Aye... he's not answering me either" Jefferson sighs.
Jefferson is on the phone. Rio sits next to him. A click is heard as Jefferson types his brother's contact name into the phone, the line ringing a few times before clicking off and the policeman was sent to voicemail.
"It's Aaron. I'm outta town for afew days. Hit you when I'm back. Peace"
Aaron's voice sounded into Jefferson's ear and the man pulled away the phone, but not before leaving a voice message before hanging up the phone.
"Aaron, it's Jeff. Look, I need you to call me if you've heard from Miles" the father said urgently, rubbing his forehead worriedly.
He had tried calling victoria before but the same thing had happened and had also left a voice message for the young woman.
