They came out of the so called lobby to be greeted by the sight of several walking panels crossing over each other across the space before them, many other spider people climbing up and down across them to swinging on them.
There were hundreds, if not thousands of spiders swinging around them or walking upside down from the passages. Y/N high river a few of the newer Spider-Men she had encountered the first months with the society as they kept walking forward.
"Gwendy how much have you told him?" Hobie asked the girl as Miles stepped back, admiring the society "Hmmm? You haven't told him anything?"
"Oh, you didn't tell him" Y/N said with a small gasp.
"What place in all of this?" Victoria surprised them as they had completely forgotten she was there at the moment.
"Aaargh!" they all turned around when Miles glitched painfully, Y/N wincing when she remembered the first time she had done so herself.
"Maybe enough" Jessica muttered "Here" she threw Miles some sort of bracelet "It's a day pass. On that note, why are you not glitching?" Jessica the directed herself to Victoria, also raising Y/N and the others' curiosity.
"My secret" Victoria took off her mask and placed her finger to her lips in a shushing motion.

Jessica led them all into a covered area where different rather aggressive individuals were being held inside some sort of cages made of force fields.
"Who are these people in these laser cages?" Miles asked them.
"They're anomalies. Folks who wound up in the wrong dimension" Jessica explained "We kick their butts, and send 'em home"
"Yeah we do" Y/N teased one of the villains she had imprisoned in her first mission.
The man dressed in a scorpion mechanical suit slammed himself and his tail onto the barrier keeping them separated and making Y/N flinch back a little.
"Easy there luv" Hobie held his hand on her lower back, stabilising her.
"We got a bunch of Doc Ocs" the hologram of a young woman that Jessica called Layla explained to Miles and the woman named Victoria "Some video game dudes..." she continued "...another video game guy" they passed more of them "...a Prowler..."
"Caught that one myself" Hobie told Miles as he and Victoria poked the cage with the man dressed in a Prowler suit.
"I slipped" the Prowler retorted indignantly.
"You? Okay I did all the work" Gwen said as they moved along.
"How... many mission have you two been together on?" Miles asked the two in front of him.
"Oh not many" Gwen said.
"Couple dozen" Hobie said at the same time, getting an annoyed look from Miles behind him.
Y/N and Hobie shared a pointed look and the man rolled his eyes, slinging his arms over the shorter girl's shoulders fondly. There was once a time that Y/N had felt rather jealous of the younger girl, but it passed when she realised that Gwen had her sights set on another 'target'. Anyway, she was still too shy to act as if Hobie was anymore than a friend to her. She turned her eyes from the young man, not catching the look he sent her as well as he thought similar things as she did.
There was a whirring noise as the hologram pressed a few buttons and a large, spider-like machine crawled out of a hole in the ceiling.
"And what is that?" Miles asked them.
"The Go Home Machine. Awesome name" Hobie told them, his hand still holding onto Y/N's hand as they pulled along.
"It detects whatever dimension your DNA is from, and sends you there. Super humane and not creepy" the machine started to charge up and the rhino that had been placed underneath it disappeared.
"Put that down" Y/N hissed at Hobie as he took something from the wall.
"If it were important, something would have happened" he said as he put it into his back jacket pocket "Don't let it ruffle your feather luv"
They finally made their way through the the long dark hall that took them to Miguel's 'study' room. Gwen called out for Miguel, the man then lowering the platform so very slowly that nearly had Y/N yawning.
"Yeah I know it's slow" Gwen told Miles, raising her hand to stop him from commenting on it "But...it's his thing"
"So he's all for the dramatic entrances" Victoria muttered to Hobie and Y/N who chuckled at her added comment.
Y/N couldn't help but notice how victoria stared at Miguel's 'back' while he was still turned around looking at the screens. Personally, she preferred her men a bit less muscular, as she thought that, she turned ever so slightly to look at Hobie who was frowning up at Miguel with his hands in his jacket's pockets.
"He's always been like that" Hobie told the girl besides him.
"Miguel O'Hara, meet Miles Morales and..." Gwen presented the boy to the older man but she saw Victoria shook her head and stopped herself from saying her name.
