Qrow: The City of Mistral!
Nora: Ugh! It's about time!
Qrow and are walking through a stone brick tunnel illuminated by translucent lanterns.
Nora: Whose idea was it to walk again?
Ren: Well, we did face many obstacles. Broken airships, destroyed settlements...
Jaune: Oh, and, you know, all those people and monsters that tried to murder us, And Y/N coming back with a child.
Ruby: Pfft, we were fine. Only one of us almost died.
She looks at Qrow
Qrow: Hey...
Nora puts her hands on her hips and looks at Ren.
Ren: Hey.
Nora giggles in response.
Jaune: So, how much farther to ?
Qrow: Almost there. But I figured I'd take you kids on the scenic route.
Y/N: Well yeah...Maybe next time we can take the quicker rou- Ah! Alesha no biting my hand.
Ruby giggle before taking out a bag of cookies and handing them to Alesha
Qrow gasps shocked.
Ruby: What?
Qrow shakes his head and laughs
Qrow: Nothing Kids didn't expect you to just give away cookies.
Ruby: Well I'm rewarding her for biting Y/N's hand
Y/N: Wha- Hey!
She turns around and sticks her tongue out at him.
Ruby: That's what you get for putting mayonnaise in my toothpaste!
Y/N: How many times do I have to tell you It was meant for Nora!
Nora: Ohhhh I like mayonnaise!
Ruby: Well Mr Giant you going to have to make it up to me!
Y/N slides behind her picks her up then places her on his back.
Y/N: That better?
Ruby smiles
Ruby: Much better
She feels someone climb onto her back.
Alesha: Yes much better
The young Wolf Faunus says from over Ruby's shoulder
The rest laugh at the three before walking on.
The group approaches a pair of large, wooden double doors, which Qrow opens, flooding the tunnel with sunlight. Ruby runs out onto a massive platform that doubles as an elevator, stopping at the railing to gaze out over the city in wide-eyed awe.
Ruby: Wow!
The others join her to take in the view of buildings and stone stairways perched on mountains.
Ruby: This... is... awesome!
Below them, large crowds of people are going about their day - walking around, talking and buying merchandise legally and illegally.
Qrow: It's certainly something.
Ruby: Oh my gosh, look at all the weapons!
Qrow: Vendors here'll sell you just about anything... whether they should or not.
