Pizza and Blushes

He pulled off his black beanie and revealed black silky hair...

I was stunned as I watched raven black hair fall to his shoulders.The dork's been hiding his beautiful hair under his hat this whole time. So that's what was under his hat... I thought he was gonna be bald .

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Kevin you said you wouldn't laugh!" Double D yelled covering himself in blankets to hide in his embarrassment.

"That's not it Dork. I just expected you to be hiding something like a bald head,but you just hid your pretty hair.  You had a lot of people making up all sorts of things to guess what was under your hat, but it's just normal hair. Why'd you hide it? The long black hair really suits you ."

"Wel-well when we were kids... Before I got my hat, and before I moved here, I got teased because other children thought my hair was to girly. They said I looked like a girl with my hair, so when I got my hat I hid my hair, I don't really want to be teased again." Double D explained the reason behind his decision a slight blush appearing on his cheeks.

"I don't think you'll get teased again. I mean you're hair is really silk like, chicks are into that,besides it brings your blue eyes out more. You can get some girls to fall for you, if you try."

He sorta looked cute without his hat.His hair looked so soft and his eyes looked like big blue puppy eyes, and his cute little gap between his front teeth made him look so innocent.Wait... Cute? Shut up Kevin!

My face mixed with embarrassment and anger as my mind tried to  comprehend the fact that I thought the town's dork was cute.I looked at  Double D hoping for my mind to regain its senses after my eyes looks at him but all they noticed was an adorable face filled with worry. I felt my face burn up as he tilted his head in confusion. I grabbed his hat and stood up from the bed smiling awkwardly.

I quickly shook the thoughts from my mind and thought quickly to change the subject.
  "Dork are you hungry?"

"Yes."

"I'll order us a pizza. Here you can find something to watch on tv." I gave Double D the remote and went to call Pizza Zap.

I dialed the number to Pizza Zap and ordered a small pepperoni stuffed crust pizza, one coke, and one sweet tea.

I walked back to my room and saw Double D looking through movies on my Filmflicks Account.
"I ordered the pizza."

"Thank you very much Kevin,for the food and everything else."

"You're welcome dork,did you find anything to watch on Tv?"

"Yes,I did. But there's two things I'm deciding on. There is a horror movie called The Inevitable , and a comedy called Groomsmen . Which do you prefer?" He asked raising an eyebrow looking at me.

"Umm, let's watch The Inevitable I heard it's pretty good and based on a true story."

"Ok, before the pizza gets here can I take a shower?" He sheepishly looks down, "I don't really feel too comfortable with having been on the ground for so long."

"Oh! Sure thing Double D, the bathroom is down the hall I'll take you there and get you a towel and soap." I had completely forgotte to offer him a shower when he woke up.

"Thank you! I'm sorry to trouble you but could you help me stand?" A blush formed on his cheeks as he moved to the edge of the bed to get up.

"Sure thing dork, um here put your arm over my shoulder." I pull Edd off the bed, his arm over my shoulder keeping him up as he limped towards the door. My shirt fell to the length of his knees and hung loosely around his small build. I couldn't help but blush as I looked at him. He was so small compared to me, the baggy shirt just made him look so innocent and petite. My thoughts stopped as I noticed it was hard for Edd to walk, limping just looked as though it was causing him pain.

"Here actually it might just be better if I carried you.Hold on." I sweeper up off his feet and carried him bridal style out the door.

"Kevin! This is extremely embarrassing!" I knew it was embarrassing, I was hiding my red face hoping Edd didn't see it or that he felt my heart beating faster with ever step I took.

I didn't know why after years of not speaking to Edd I was starting to feel emotions for him I never felt before. I couldn't tell what I was feeling but I knew it was developing fast.

After getting him in tub I went back to my room and waited on the pizza to arrive.

I started to move around the room cleaning it up as much as possible. I moved the table a bit to the front of my bed so Double D could place his things down without getting up.

"Finished" I said happily. After a few minutes I had the water stop and I went to the bathroom to help him out. "Um Double D, need some help getting out?"

"No no I can - I can do it myself dont worry I'm fine. "

"I highly doubt that dork,you had trouble just getting into the tub. I'm coming in."

"Wait! I need to cover myself!"

"Oh. Right, sorry." I closed the door and waited for Edd to tell me he was done. When I opened the door again he was still sitting in the tub but a towel was wrapped around his body. His hair laid on top of his shoulders, dripping water onto the towel.

"Here wrap your arms around my neck and hold on tight." I reached into the tub, putting my arms under his knees and lifted him up. "Alright there we go." I walked us back into my room and left him alone to change into another one of my shirts.

"Kevin do you think my clothes are done yet? I'm in need if some undergarments."

"Sorry dork I checked on them while you were in the shower but they're still in the washer. I can lend you some if you'd like but I doubt they'll fit." I had completely forgotten he didnt have a change of underwater.

"No that's ok. It's rather unhygienic to share underwear. I'm finished in here you can come in now."

I walked inside and noticed Edd had a red face and had covered himself with a blanket. It must be pretty awkward to not have underwear on I snickered to myself.

The door bell rang and walked downstairs to open the door. I got the pizza and tipped the man and made my way back upstairs.

"I got the pizza Double D." I said opening the door.

"Ah! Kevin do you need help?" He asked worrying.

"Nope, you can't stand up anyway. I got this!" I said placing the food and drinks on the table.

"Okay! Time to eat! Do you want soda or sweet tea to drink? " I asked siting down on the bed.

"Sweet Tea if you don't mind."

I moved the sweet tea on his side of the table and opened the pizza box.

"It looks good! Let's dig in!" I said cheerfully.

I heard Double D giggling and looked at him the slice of pizza in my mouth.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing , I'm sorry, you just reminded me of how you acted when we were children. You always use to get so excited when you are pizza,it was very cute!"

He said I was cute... Oh my God! He thinks I'm cute? No he just meant I was cute as a kid, I'm just overthinking.

"Oh the movie's starting!" He said excitedly reaching for his own slice of pizza.
