I'm sure you've all heard this already, but if you haven't then allow me to tell you. Christopher Lee (Saruman) has sadly passed away and sailed into the West.
I'm pretty devastated and I'm sure many Ringers are feeling the same way. 93 years of epicness! He was 93 and he was STILL acting! He was a genius. We will miss him terribly.
He achieved so much! Here are some of my favourites...
• He was the only member of the cast to meet Tolkien (and he was promised the role of Gandalf if there were ever a movie by Tolkien himself).
• He was knighted.
• He's a freaking Jedi Master.
• He served in WWII (and climbed Mount Vesuvius which then erupted three days later (probably because of his awesomeness)).
Overall, he was an amazing actor and he will be missed.
Rest in Peace, Christopher Lee. I hope you meet up with Tolkien in the West. 😭😞😩
