To be honest with you, I was a bit disappointed with the Rivendell scene in The Hobbit book. The elves were so cheeky and foolish. I literally thought I was reading Enid Blyton.
I love the Lord of the Rings elves. They are angelic and kind (well, some more than others).
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE The Hobbit book! It is fantabulous! I was just sad with the Rivendell scene. And you'd think Elrond would know about Durin's Day. *sigh*
I thought the Elves were especially majestic in the movie (they even had Lindir, but that's another chapter).
But the rest of the book was fantabulous. I mean no offence to The Hobbit fans. After all, I'm a Hobbit fan myself. ;)
