most of the legendary students of the university were Art majors- be it general arts or performing arts.
it was fascinating to see so many faces people always talked about and looked up to when she entered the art block.

jeno was one of them.

it made subin's gut churn whenever she realised how jeno thought of her.

she was in a daze, looking around the unfamiliar interior of the dance department, she didn't realise when jeno had stepped outside of his class and had approached her.

"dude," she let out a relieved breath when she saw it was jeno, putting her hand on her chest to regain composure, "you scared the shit out of me. don't ever sneak up on me like that again."
"I'm sorry, i won't- wait what are you doing in the art block?"
"waiting for you? unless you have more classes, then-"
"no!" he cut her off, "I'm free. i just thought you were here for seohyun but i was hoping you were here for me but I didn't want to jump to conclusions and- yeah."

she chuckled at his unnecessary explanation, finding it cute how he felt he needed to clarify things.

"you could've just said you're eager to spend time with me, jeno" she teased him, making him playfully roll his eyes and wrap his arm around her shoulders as they began to walk with no specific destination in mind.

out of hunger, they found themselves at a subway.
classic kdrama location.

"did you know, I'm allergic to cucumber" subin said, glaring at the nasty vegetable jeno asked to add in his sandwich
"really? I didn't know you could be allergic to cucumber. i just thought people hated cucumber," he said
"I'm both. i hate cucumber because I'm allergic to it. i found out about it in elementary school, my mom made me eat it in a salad for breakfast and the whole day at school i was so itchy," she laughed at her memory

"my future brother in law hates cucumbers. i don't know if he's allergic or not, but he gets really grossed out by them." jeno told subin, "did you know cats get scared of cucumbers?"
"really?! i don't really like cats but after you told me that i might just change my mind"
"you don't like cats?"
"im a dog person. explains why I'm attracted to you, samoyed" she winked and he chuckled at her sentence
