"you look more nervous than me," jina joked

she wasn't nervous at all! instead, she was stuffing her face with sweets while leisurely laying on the couch while watching some variety show.

"I'm not! i won't cry!" he defended himself, getting a little flustered
she smirked, "i never said you'd cry tomorrow"

"stop bothering your brother, jina." their mother spoke, entering the room just as jeno started to call out for her out of his younger sibling instinct

"I'm not bothering him. I'm just telling him he looks like he's about to shit his pants- what if he shits his pants tomorrow?! that would be such a funny story to tell my kids-"
"mom," the younger whined and threw his head back

their mother just shook her head, "jeno, sorry but you do look more nervous," she gave him a tight-lipped smile and patted his hand while he started at her in shock

but before he could say anything, their mother scooted next to jina and started caressing her hair, "I'm so proud of you," she started with a little pout on her face.

both of the siblings noticed their mom getting emotional as she thought more about her daughter getting married. she tried holding her tears in but once jina shifted so she could be in her embrace, she couldn't hold them in anymore.

she didn't need to say much, they both understood what she felt watching her daughter going to start a new chapter of her life, navigating the world with someone who would be soon bonded to her for life.

watching his mother cry made jeno tear up a little as well, whereas the bride to be was only hugging her mom with her lips pursed together. it wasn't easy getting lee jina to cry, she took after her father in that department.

so when their father also walked into the living room, he was confused.
