jisung's arms were a magical place, lulling the girl to sleep as he talked to her about nothing specific. his deep voice warmed her heart and the hand that played with her hair made her drowsy. the sound of his heart beating steady made everything else seem irrelevant. to park seorin, being in park jisung's arms was equivalent to heaven.

jisung noticed the tired girl had started responding to him with a lower voice and tired tone after a while, asking her if she wanted him to bring her to his bed for a more comfortable sleep.

their position wasn't all that uncomfortable to her. they had shifted to the couches with seorin laying on top of the taller boy with a show drowning in the background.

she refused his offer, instead attempting to get up even though every part of her wanted to stay with him.
"i need to go home and revise for tomorrow's exam. I'll catch up on some sleep after." she said, stretching her arms after successfully sitting up, jisung following her actions

"oof, good luck. i know you'll do amazing," he said, grabbing her face with one hand and placing a quick kiss on her lips
"that wasn't a proper kiss"
"too bad, that's all you're gonna get"
"that's not fair!"
"miss ma'am, what wasn't fair was 2 months ago when you said you wouldn't mind kissing me and then you just walked away"
"I can't believe its been two months. i feel like I've known you forever."
"that's what they say about soulmates, you feel like you've known them forever"
"really? who said that?"
"i dunno. but somebody must've said it, right?"

seorin laughed and shook her head, leaning forward to kiss his cheek before standing up
"I'll get going now"

he stood up to see her out, following her to the door, "get back safe"
"i will, its not like its far"
"yeah.."
"yeah"

"you don't feel like leaving, do you?"
"no"
"i dont want you to leave either"
"i know. but I have to"
"i know. i love you"
"i love you more"
