Author's POV

Abhimanyu entered the mansion, only to see his family surrounding someone.

Of course it's that scheming girl.

He thought.

Just looking at her irked him.

This girl is living on his family's expenses. And soon, his'.

'There's no way she is going to be here when I take over the business,' he vowed.

He was politely invited to the dinner and wasn't given the chance to refuse.

Seeing the way Trisha's expression became scared by seeing him, he could only clench his fists.

" Call Amayra," Zaira ordered.

Abhimanyu looked up from his plate, only to notice the girl in front of him. Even though he has learned to master his emotions, he couldn't help but feel his patience running thin with Trisha sitting across him.

" Dad, who's Amayra?!"

Trisha exclaimed.

Adhiraj gracefully took a sip of his fruit juice, " My daughter."

Trisha was taken aback.

" D-Daughter? I thought I was the only one..." she said quietly.

Adhiraj glances at her calmly.

" She is my darling daughter. I expect you to behave."

Aarav and Vivaan couldn't help but feel pity for Trisha.

Vihaan, Vivaan's brother and one of the eldest sons of the family, scoffed internally as he listened to her words.

Amayra was always rightfully the daughter of the Singhania family. Did Trisha expect herself to be a princess or something? She was just too desperate.

Amayra came down, only to notice a girl around eighteen sitting on the dining table with her family. She couldn't help but frown at her. Ignoring her, she went towards Abhimanyu and sat down beside him on her usual seat.

" Hey baby," Zaira smiled at her.

" She's your sister, Trisha."

Amayra looked at her father who was on the other side of her, in disbelief. Adhiraj couldn't comprehend what she was thinking but he knew she wasn't happy. His eyes softened as he patted her head. Amayra's face held a little pout as she nodded happily to the girl.

She was upset that no one told her about having a sister.

To brighten up her mood, Sameer and Kabir filled her plate with her favourite dishes.

They were the best cousins ever.

Though Adhiraj took the initiative to introduce Trisha to Armaan and Ahaan, they ignored her presence. They knew about the incident and couldn't believe she was here, sitting in front of them so shamelessly. And they didn't even feel like she was their triplet.

No connection whatsoever.

Trisha was fuming when she saw Adhiraj caring so much for Amayra.

Things were already pretty clear between all of them. Trisha knew they doubted her. The family practically knew that she wasn't their own, but they never got the proof. When Trisha was found, all the elites of the business world knew about her. Somehow, her news was leaked. Now, most of the people know that Adhiraj has taken the girl in, so they just can't throw her out.

Firstly, it would affect the business greatly. Secondly, they needed to know who she was. She was a potential threat to the Singhania family.

After the numerous positive DNA tests, Adhiraj still wasn't satisfied. So he secretly ran a DNA test by taking Trisha's hair samples while she was in the US. If someone was tampering with the results before, he was sure they wouldn't do it with Trisha out of the country. He changed names in the sample and sent them over for a test discreetly. That way, they could catch the mole between his men.
