Cen Huai'an, though only five years old, has an excellent memory and doesn't forget things he's seen.

He grew up rough and tumble from a young age, so he's very familiar with this place. Even in the nooks and crannies that Chu Xia doesn't even know as well as he does.

When he brought Chu Xia to find Brother Bang, Brother Bang had somehow obtained a pedicab from somewhere and, with a few kids, was taking collected scrap paper to the scrapyard

Seeing Chu Xia and Cen Huai'an appear again, Brother Bang unloaded the torn sacks from the tricycle and others, ignored Chu Xia, and asked Cen Huai'an directly, "Xiǎo Pò Làn, why are you back again?"

As he asked, he cast a sidelong glance at Chu Xia, his face lacking respect and clearly conveying, 'Why are you here? You're not welcome!'

Cen Huai'an looked at Chu Xia, pursed his lips, and said nothing.

He couldn't figure out why his mother wanted to invite Brother Bang and the others to dinner. In his heart, although his mother had gotten better, he still felt that she might turn bad again the next second.

So, even though he really wanted to go to the state-owned restaurant, if his mother didn't say it, he wouldn't either.

At his young age, after following Brother Bang for so long with no one to teach him reasoning, he already knows how to be righteous.

Chu Xia smiled, finding the exchange between An'an and Brother Bang quite interesting.

She looked at Brother Bang and showed goodwill. "It's not An'an who's looking for you; it's me. I'm looking for all of you. Are you called Brother Bang?"

Brother Bang placed the scrap paper in front of the old man at the scrapyard for weighing, casually swinging his legs as he responded, "That's what they call me. I go by Brother Bang."

"Brother Bang, hello. I am An'an's mother."

Brother Bang first glanced at Cen Huai'an and noticed some changes in him that weren't there before. In regards to Chu Xia, he appeared distant on the surface, but he was actually still relying on her.

Brother Bang relaxed a bit, although he still found Chu Xia somewhat strange, as she treated him differently from other adults.

But it was undeniable that she treated him as an adult, not as a child, and he was comfortable.

So his tone became much better: "What do you want from me?"

He clapped his hands and waited for the old man at the scrapyard to count his money.

"I'll invite you to the state-owned restaurant for dinner; will you come?"

Brother Bang was genuinely surprised, not quite understanding Chu Xia's intentions.

He looked at Cen Huai'an, who only nodded to him without saying anything. Brother Bang understood what he meant; his mother is not lying.

"Okay!" Brother Bang immediately agreed enthusiastically, calling his brothers, "Let's go; there's good food today!"

The tension on Cen Huai'an's face relaxed, and he took the initiative to place his hand on Chu Xia's, his large eyes looking at her, asking, 'Shall we go?'

It was rare to see Cen Huai'an looking forward to something so much, and she couldn't help but smile.

Only delicious food could make Cen Huai'an take such initiative, but when she thought of the reason, she touched Cen Huai'an's head.

"Let's go!"

An adult walked with several children to the state-owned restaurant.

Excluding Cen Huai'an, there were a total of four children, including Brother Bang and his brothers. The three children behind them were exchanging meaningful glances.
