With An'an in tow, Chu Xia walked out of the alley where the Jiang family lived, following Grandpa Jiang. They walked a distance to the left and turned into another alley.

She looked at the name written on the sign at the alley intersection, feeling that the name of this alley seemed somewhat familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere before.

While Chu Xia was still contemplating, Grandpa Jiang had already stopped in front of a house, tapping the door with the copper ring on it.

Chu Xia's gaze stayed on the house number nailed to the outer wall: Number 26.

After observing the number for a moment, she opened her bag, took out a neatly folded piece of paper, slightly wrinkled due to being in the bag for too long.

But it didn't affect Chu Xia's ability to read the words written on it. It was the address Teacher Guo Lin had given her, exactly matching her current location.

When Chu Xia brought An'an to the capital, Guo Lin had asked her to come and find his teacher and senior brother.

However, she and Cen Huai'an were taken away by Grandpa Jiang the next day, who then said he wanted to teach Cen Huai'an how to play Go.

Chu Xia didn't go to find Guo Lin's teacher and senior brother again. Instead, she called Guo Lin to thank him for his kindness and explained that An'an's great-grandfather wanted to teach him chess, so they couldn't visit his teacher and senior brother.

As they entered, Chu Xia followed behind. She noticed that Hong Yuande had his eyes on Cen Huai'an, with a scrutinizing look.

Grandpa Jiang, familiar with the layout, entered the house casually, sat in the living room, poured himself a cup of tea, and asked Cen Huai'an and Chu Xia to sit as if they were in his own home.

Hong Yuande's gaze revealed a hint of disdain. "This is my home. Why are you so oblivious to courtesy?"

Grandpa Jiang's smile appeared even more benevolent on his face. "With our relationship, why bother with formalities between us?"

Chu Xia sipped her tea, then looked at Hong Yuande's disgusted face but upon hearing Grandpa Jiang's words, she almost burst into laughter.

Indeed, Grandpa Jiang was interesting, and his friends were equally amusing.

"Where's your great-grandson?" Grandpa Jiang asked Hong Yuande while sipping his tea.

Hong Yuande, being casual, sat across from Grandpa Jiang and poured himself a cup of tea. "I knew you'd be late, so I told him to come later."

Seeing Hong Yuande finish his tea in one go, Grandpa Jiang leisurely sipped his tea and said, "Tea should be savored slowly. Drink it in one gulp like that, can you taste anything?"

As if challenging him, Hong Yuande poured another cup of tea and drank it in one go, saying, "Tea is meant to quench thirst. Drinking it all fancy like you do, I'd be thirsty to death by now."

Grandpa Jiang didn't argue with him. Just as Hong Yuande understood him, Grandpa Jiang also understood Hong Yuande's dislike for affected manners.

"Our time is limited. If your great-grandson doesn't come soon, we'll leave."

"Just now, you said I was impatient, and now you're the one in a hurry?" Hong Yuande looked at Cen Huai'an, who was sitting quietly on the side, sipping tea, and chuckled. "Could it be that you're really scared now?"

Grandpa Jiang, turning the tea cup in his hand, said, "Yuande, you really love making jokes."

Chu Xia felt the tension between the two old men, and as a junior, she tried to lower her presence. She quietly approached Cen Huai'an and asked him in a low voice, "Did your Great-Grandfather say why he brought you here?"
