The Rolls, ingrained in the counter read Vedas and lauds. The sheath defining the titan bold decipherable sanskrit scripts, The hub bedecked with the illuminating hymns of the various depictions. The Royal priests occupied themselves with pouring ghee to the altar.
They are patrons, in Madhava's civil. The Empress is charging , prudence much rendered for the enchanting Royal breakfast and the arrival of new guest.
Milling around the entire visage of Yudhishthira's grand castle with aim, of extending herself to the breakfast arena has been gratified. She met with the awe-inspiring sight of the Royal Family eating to their fill.
The noises of rush appeared intrusive, yet it yielded her mind to a level of relief. Her slender form stirred in gay, beneath the warm cocoon of the scarlet robe sprawled . The resounding purls of cuckoos and robins ascended in extending the semblance of early morning with the rays peeping in through the pale curtains.
The sight had her whelmed , tenderly roofing her heart with glee. She clutched into the thin ends of her Saree. Her eldest, in bequest of whooping analysis of Rig Veda, with spirit , spelling them out to his two sons, Yaudheya and Prativindhya.
In conjunction with, he is securing his darling Suthanu, of two years in his lap.( Note; I changed the age of suthanu and samyuktha. In the previous chapters, you might know her being twelve or thirteen, but now suthanu is 2 and samyuktha is one. Ignore that Kanyavas part)
Devika is feeding Makhan to Suthanu, a sight to watch!. Devika manifested motherly love not only to Yaudheya, but to her two children, Suthanu and Prativindhya. As much as princess of Drupada loves Yaudheya as her own son, Devika exhibits maternity to all her Upapandavas and her two daughters-whom she cherishes more than her own life.
Suthanu's arrival loaded her life with exhilaration. Devika, much yearned for a daughter from her early ages than a son. She knew her husband is much devoted to her elder co wife whom she took into account, for a best friend and elder sister.
She was in high spirits, to a degree for acquiring the noble Prativindhya, for a son from her Agraja Draupadi. As though, how doll face was Indra to Aditi, Yudhishtira to Kunti, Valadeva to Yashoda, such was Prativindhya to Devika.
Her son, Her darling son. He is the son of Devika, Devika Suta, the bestower of delight in the heart of his mother, Devika. By means of just a sight of him, alone, can draw ultimate happiness in her heart.
For an indicating contrast, Devika was raptured for the chord of having a daughter, much from her salad days. The yearn fell victim to gratification, as Mahadev's unfathomable affection chopped down on them.
Suthanu, their angel, came into their life. Now her peep passed possession to her Som, sitting in the midst of Valandhara and Bhima, enticing the whole venue with his bewitching smile. Valandhara was feeding him Pulav, his preferred and prized. She had Sarvaga asleep in her lap.
Bhim was savoring the moment of Samyuktha playing with his Gada. The little girl gaped at the humungous weapon with glistening eyes and being the pampering father he is, Bhima let her cull whatever she pleased.
Drupada's progeny gracefully settled beside Krishna's senior consort, cradling a slumbering Sen in her embrace. Her gaze shimmered with maternal warmth as she tenderly caressed his miniature digits with affection. "Where might my valiant Shatanik be? Is he in the embrace of slumber, dear sister?" inquired Rukmini. Draupadi responded, "He was not in my company; throughout the morn, he engaged in playful pursuits with Saubhadra." Rukmini exclaimed, "Praise be to Mahadev! Subhadra has been lavishing attention on Shatanik lately; his charismatic allure knows no bounds." The women shared a collective laughter in response.
Subhadra entered the chamber, cradling a peacefully slumbering Abhimanyu. "Are all the little ones asleep, or do we have a few exceptions?" she inquired, gesturing towards the peacefully resting Sen. Seating herself gently beside Draupadi, Subhadra carefully secured her son's towel to prevent any mishaps. Draupadi, glancing at Abhimanyu, felt a pang of emotion. The tiny being in Subhadra's arms was a testament to Gandivadhari's devotion to Krishna's sister. Now, where did Panchali fit into this intricate web? She had to come to terms with the bitter reality that Subhadra bore ARJUN's firstborn, his rightful successor.
Lost in contemplation, Draupadi couldn't help but touch her own stomach, pondering the gender of Nakula's impending child. Would it be a boy or a girl? The seers she consulted predicted a girl, and she envisioned Suthanu and Samyuktha gaining sisters. Subhadra observed Draupadi's movements with admiration, captivated by the enchanting woman before her.
Rukmini, injecting a playful remark, warned Subhadra, "Don't get too lost; she already has five husbands." Subhadra, openly acknowledging Draupadi's allure, confessed, "If I had met her before my husband, I might have abducted and married her." Draupadi's eyes widened, and Rukmini burst into laughter at Subhadra's candid admission.
"Praise Mahadev, Subhadra, your candor knows no bounds," Draupadi remarked with surprise. Observing Draupadi's demeanor, Rukmini posed a question, "Nakula Priya, what's your inclination? Will you welcome a courageous son or a splendid daughter?" Draupadi openly confessed, "I have always yearned for a daughter from Arya Nakul." Intrigued, Subhadra inquired, "Why so, Agraja?" Draupadi explained, "My Arya Nakul stands as the most handsome man in the entire Aryan realm. During our union, I envisioned our offspring, picturing how they would inherit their father's striking features. Just as I anticipated, Shatanik exudes his father's charm. I've harbored a desire to witness a female version of Arya Nakul. It piques my curiosity to envision how his daughter would look. Yet, it seems that, as women, we often crave sons just as men yearn for daughters, don't we?"
"So, Agraja, are you leaning towards a daughter or a son?" inquired Subhadra. Draupadi expressed her preference, stating, "I've had my fill of sons; now, I desire a daughter. Arya Nakul shares the same wish, but Shatanik is yearning for a brother." Rukmini reassured, "He will embrace his sister wholeheartedly, I can assure you of that." Adding a touch of humor, she mentioned, "Even Pradyumna predicts a daughter. He wants to witness the daughter of his Pitruvyah Nakul, questioning why Mata Draupadi needs more sons." The revelation prompted chuckles from both women. Subhadra, perceptive to Draupadi's gaze at her son, noted, "He is a blend of Subhadra and Arjun, inheriting his mother's complexion.
In the tranquil ambiance, a faintly masculine voice resonated—none other than Pradyumna, Krishna and Rukmini's offspring. Seated amidst Draupadi and Rukmini, the lad elicited smiles from the trio. Arjun's cherished wife, Panchali, enveloped him protectively. With his head nestled on Panchali's shoulder, Pradyumna, inquisitive at fourteen, posed a question , "Mother, who do you anticipate emerging from within—male or female?" Draupadi, responding in kind, asserted, "Be it a son or daughter, our affection shall remain unwavering, my courageous son."
Pradyumna questioned, "Mother, with me as the eldest and our brave Upapandava brothers, why desire more sons ?" Draupadi, expressing devotion, responded, "Hail Mahadev, my beloved Pradyumna," kissing his forehead. She continued, "Regardless if it's a mighty Rudra or the goddess Lakshmi herself, our joy knows no bounds as it is in the hands of Mahadev."
Subhadra intervened, cautioning, "Pradyumna, don't rejoice too soon. Arjun's son with Draupadi is yet to be born, the awaited descendant." Draupadi felt a turmoil within, reflecting on Arjun's prioritization of Subhadra's motherhood. Responding, she stated, "Arjun's desire for a son has been fulfilled through your son, Devi. He doesn't seek more sons, especially from his first wife." Subhadra, crestfallen, believed they had reconciled but sensed Draupadi's lingering pain. She resolved to discuss this with Arjun.
Rukmini, grasping Panchali's shoulders, exclaimed, "How can Arjun overlook the prospect of a son from Drupada's prized possession, the princess?" Panchali offered a bitter smile, finding solace in Pradyumna's comforting embrace. Their moment was interrupted by a soldier's announcement: "Hail Mahadev, the Queens, Prince Arjun, Yadava king Shree Krishna, along with Nakuli Shatanika, have arrived from Dwaraka, requesting your presence." The ladies hurried to the entrance, where Panchali stood beside Yudhishthir, who shared a loving smile. Arjun descended the chariot with Shatanika in his arms, exchanging fatherly pecks. The guests bowed before Panchali and Yudhishthir. Yudhishthir welcomed them to Indraprastha, though the upcoming time held challenges for the kings of Draupadi.
