I am returning home today, after 13 years away. It's hard, because it's not home anymore, and it already feels empty inside. My family is not like others. We are different from the people around us in many ways, ways that I can't even begin to count. When I stayed away, I learnt to become normal, I learnt what there was to learn about myself. As a young boy, decisions were taken for me that I had no control over. When I was sent away, I took my own decisions, or so I thought, until it was proven otherwise. So, I learnt how to rebel. And to get my own way. But the price I paid for that innocent rebellion was far more than I had expected. That taught me that if I wanted to rebel, to carve my own path, my own place in this world, I had to use my own brand of stealth. And so far, I had succeeded. But now, everything would be soon over."
