You’re a Disgrace to Us!  

The last bus had left.

Valerie sat on the bench in the bus shelter and watched the sun in the distanc e gradually turn from blood red to dark gray…

The street lights gradually came on. Valerie leaned back and stared blankly at  the sky.

She placed her hands on her lap in frustration. The pain in her body exhausted her.

The stars were slowly appearing in the sky, and the street lights were getting brighter.

Valerie didn’t want to go home.

She could guess that she would be severely scolded if she got home.

“Alas…”

The cell phone in Valerie’s pocket suddenly vibrated.

Valerie knew it was Jayvion calling.

She took the phone out. Just as she was about to pick up the phone, it stoppe d vibrating.

What Valerie bought on eBay hadn’t arrived yet, so she didn’t keep an eye on her phone. It hadn’t been charged for three or four days.

It made sense that her phone ran out of battery.

After glancing at the dark screen of her phone, Valerie put it down.

She looked at the dark sky in low spirits.

She was thinking, “It’s almost autumn.

“It should be quite cold at night.

“I guess I’ll have to find a place to sleep tonight.”

It didn’t matter to Valerie that she had to spend the night out. After all, she did it often.

In her last life, she had no place to stay after she was kicked out of the Horton’ s house.

She could only go to some parks and find some buildings that could accommo date people to shelter her from the wind and rain.

She slept like that for almost half a month before she found the orphanage…

Valerie ached all over and tutted in disgust. She chose to continue sitting on the bench for a while.

Valerie gradually got sleepy.

She tried to keep her eyes open to keep from falling asleep…

“I think I’ll stay here tonight…” Valerie thought to herself.

She looked miserable. Her face was swollen and had finger marks on it.
