"I'm just a little tired today" Jihoon announced when he was being scolded by their main producer, he missed the deadline on some work he needed to present today and all he managed to say to Scoups was "I'm just a little tired today"

Scoups knew that something was wrong, Woozi wouldn't miss on his deadlines and especially if it was production. Woozi practically lived in the studio day and night.

Woozi was with the Hip Hop unit in the recording room. They were a little behind schedule and the unit was asked to stay a little bit longer to finish recording and Woozi had to be there to make sure all was done properly

"I'm sorry guys you're staying up late because of me" Jihoon apologized only to gain soft smiles and waves from the four others
"Don't worry about it" Wonwoo mumbled with softly unbothered
"It's alright Hoonie it happens don't worry about it" Scoups reassured seeing just how bad Woozi was feeling. He looked tired and yet he was here doing his best to catch up on their recordings.

The session started and everything seemed to be going well. It took them a little more time than expected but it was okay, they had to get it done anyways and no one complained, they just had to go home a bit later that night ... nothing unusual

"Okay guys I think we're done for the night" Woozi announced "You've done well" he looked up at the HipHop unit with a proud smile on his face

Mingyu stretched his tired body a little and nodded "Let's go home now?" Wonwoo was tired as well, he tugged on Mingyu's jacket "Yes please" he mumbled sounding a bit exhausted himself

"Let's go?" Scoups picked up his jacket and was about to leave, he glanced over at Woozi who's eyes were still hovering over the computer screen

"Humm? No you guys go ahead I'll finish a few more things and go home"

"Hoon" Scoups frowned "You're tired it's okay whatever it is I'm sure we can catch up on it later, you need to rest a little"

"I'm fine" he tried to sound confident but he probably couldn't because the truth was that he wasn't "It will just be a couple of hours then I'll go home I promise"

The leader sighed, "Please don't overwork yourself" placing a firm grip over his shoulder "I don't want to see you getting sick or loosing your focus"

"I'll be fine" Woozi smiled trying to reassure the leader. Seungcheol gave him one last look before he joined the others downstairs to go home. Once inside the car, he pulled his phone out and messaged Jeonghan

"Hannie do me a favor?"

"Sure Whatsup?"

"Jihoon is tired I can see it, he was scolded by the managers earlier for being behind on his schedules, he's staying late at the studio trying to keep up"

"Oh?"

"Let me know once he comes home okay"

"I will, thanks for letting me know, I'll check with the rest of our unit in case they know anything"

"Thanks, see you tomorrow"

"Good night"

A couple of hours turned four, and Woozi was rubbing his tired eyes once again trying to ease the burning sensation. He was about to go back to the screen when his phone buzzed, the name Jeonghan appeared on his screen, he sighed, he knew exactly what the older would say and he didn't want to go through the conversation.
The phone stopped buzzing and soon a text message appeared on his screen

"Hoon please come home"

He hated himself for not picking up, he felt as if he was breaking the promise he made to Scoups earlier. Jeonghan was worried about him and he figured that Scoups must have told him. He bitterly but his lower lip as he put the phone away. He had to finish his work, he can't be behind schedule again, it effect the entire team.

He ignore the continuous messages from his team and simply continued with his work and when he decided it was enough, it was already 5am in the morning. Woozi sat back on his chair resting his eyes for a bit feeling his body getting heavier by the second.
He snapped out of his daze when he felt himself leaning forward dozing off on his chair. He shook his head a little tying to keep himself awake, he checked the time and gasped a little. He definitely broke his promise to Coups, he better be getting ready soon if he didn't want to be scolded today too.

He sighed, picked himself up slowly feeling his head throbbing, he hated the feeling and he hated having to go through the whole day with it. He walked to the washroom splashing his face with cold water and shivering a little as it made contact with his skin. He sighed deeply looking at his phone, the many missed calls and the unread messages. He felt so bad for ignoring them but he finally had the chance to have a look at them

"Sorry, I'll be home in a bit"
He simple texted as he went back to the recording room to pack and finally go home, maybe he could catch up on some sleep before their next schedule that evening.
He was struggling to focus, his bag, his keys, his jacket ... why's everything upside down?

And then nothing

Someone was calling his name, gently shaking him with a warm hand over his face. Jihoon opened his eyes slightly to find Scoups and Jeonghan hovering on top of him

"Humm?" He hummed trying to reply to his name being called

"Hoon, can you hear me?" Jeonghan was so worried his eyes scanning Jihoon's face over and over again

Jihoon closed his eyes again and nodded trying to pick himself up feeling as Scoups wrapped a hand around his shoulders helping him sit up "Slowly okay? What happened?"

Jihoon was holding his head feeling it as it swayed him left and right "I ... don't know"

He glanced up to meet Jeonghan again, he didn't notice that a few feet away from him was Seungkwan, Joshua and DK.

When Jihoon texted them that morning saying he was finally coming home, they waited for him but he didn't come and they grew worried. Jeonghan called Scoups and they thought they should check up on him only to find him sprawled all over the recording room

"Okay let's get you on the couch, are you hurt?"

"N-no ... I don't think so" Jihoon mumbled feeling exhausted

They slowly helped him up and placed him on the sofa, DK brought him a bottle of water which he gratefully took and Jeonghan pushed him back on the sofa to get some rest

"I'm sorry" Jihoon apologized "You said you didn't want to see me sick or loosing my focus but I-"

"Don't worry about it okay?" Scoups cut him off "You obviously need some rest, we'll get you something to eat and you can sleep for a while okay?"

"B-but?"

"No Hoon please" Jeonghan insisted this time and he wasn't going to take no for an answer. Woozi glanced at the others and saw just how worried they looked

"Please rest for now" Joshua came closer holding Woozi's hand.
Seungkwan had the small blanket they kept in the studio for when they stayed up late and simply covered Jihoon with "I'll order us some food, tell me what's on your mind" he said with a smile

"Kwan I'm not —"

"You still have to eat before you sleep"

"I'm fine guys pl—"

"Well I don't care" Jeonghan sounded really serious "We're not having this conversation"

Jihoon softened seeing just how everyone was worried about him. He felt bad for how things turned out today and he couldn't deny that he was indeed really tired. He quickly ate what he could and simply surrendered to the heavy feeling that took over him.
They were softly talking about something Jihoon can't remember, scattered all over the recording room while he was covered tightly laying on the sofa.
His eyes fluttered slowly as exhaustion consumed him and soon, he was in deep sleep.

"I'm really glad we came" Jeonghan sighed looking at how soft and fragile Jihoon looked

"He just needs some rest Hannie he'll be fine" Scoups reassured but he couldn't control the way the entire until was worried about their producer and that's okay.

He'll be okay soon.
