Dex couldn't help but feel proud as he walked in the halls of Foxfire alongside Keefe and Tam, who were holding hands. He technically helped Keefe figure out how to ask Tam out, what he should do and helped him calm his nerves. So, Dex couldn't help but feel proud. Especially since the two didn't feel the need to hide their relationship.

"I've been meaning to ask, what did you do yesterday that was so important that you couldn't hang out with me?" Keefe asked as he looked at Tam.
"I had to hang with Dex and his mischievous siblings."
"That sounds like you don't like my presence." Dex said, frowning at Keefe.
Keefe smiled at Dex.
"I love hanging out with you Dexter, it's just I'd rather be with my boyfriend." Keefe said, his expression turning smug as he was able to call Tam his boyfriend.

Tam rolled his eyes as he squeezed Keefe's hand.
"I was at Everglen." Tam said.
Keefe raised an eyebrow at Tam.
"With Biana?" Keefe asked.
Tam nodded. Keefe squinted his eyes at Tam but he felt no emotions that would suggest Tam was lying. Tam wasn't lying. After he talked and planned out how to apologise to Dex with Fitz, he did hang out with Biana. He simply missed out a detail from being over at Everglen.

"Plus, I'm sure you had fun with Dex and the triplets. You're as mischievous as them."
"Believe me, they're worse than me. Right Dex?"
Dex stopped as they made it towards his locker and he seen a note stuck on it. Keefe looked at note in confusion as Tam just stared at it. Keefe then glanced at Tam, not feeling any confusion from him.

"What's it say?" Tam asked, looking at Dex and ignoring Keefe's gaze.
Dex made his way up to the locker door and took the note off it, unfolding it and opening it.
Tam and Keefe stood, watching Dex read the note.
Keefe then leaned in closer to Tam.
"You weren't just with Biana, were you?" Keefe whispered into Tam's ear.
Tam couldn't help but smile mischievously as he looked at Keefe.
"Nope."
Tam reached up and kissed Keefe's cheek, causing Keefe to blush.

Dex crumpled up the note and he chucked it aside.
"It's nothing." Dex stated, smiling at Tam and Keefe.
"I need to get going to my first lesson. I'll see you guys at lunch."
Dex walked off, leaving Keefe and Tam alone.

Tam furrowed his eyebrows and Keefe let go of Tam's hand as he crouched down and picked up the crumpled note.
"Looks like Fitzter isn't good with his words." Keefe said as he got up.
"Don't read it." Tam scowled as Keefe uncrumpled the note.
"Why not? Didn't you help write this?" Keefe asked, smiling at Tam.
Tam glared at Keefe.
"I didn't, actually. I told him that I'd leave him alone to actually write it and ensure he put his heart into it while I hung out with Biana." Tam stated, his tone of voice bitter.
"Don't be an asshole, Keefe."
Tam snatched the note from Keefe and ripped it up into smaller pieces.

Tam then turned away and walked off. Keefe quickly caught up with Tam.
"You know when you get angry at me, it's kinda hot-"
Tam felt his cheeks warm up and he elbowed Keefe in his stomach, causing Keefe to groan and stumble back.
Tam glanced at his boyfriend and seen how he clutched to his stomach.
"You had it coming!" Tam exclaimed, walking off.
"I still think you're hot!" Keefe called back, his voice sort of higher pitched due to the pain he was in as he continued to clutch his stomach.
Tam sighed and rolled his eyes.

Keefe was an idiot.
But it seemed like Fitz was a bigger idiot.

Fitz sighed as he left the room of his last lesson. He fiddled with his cape as he dug through his pocket for his home crystal.
"Desperate to get home?"
Fitz looked over and seen Keefe leaning against the wall.
"Did you ditch your last lesson?" Fitz asked, turning around to face Keefe.
"You know me so well~" Keefe sighed out, smiling at Fitz.

Fitz sighed softly and he fiddled with his home crystal now.
"So why are you here? I thought you didn't want to see me." Fitz said.
"Well, your failed attempt of trying to apologise to Dex made me feel bad." Keefe stated.
"So obviously Tam's plan didn't work, probably because he doesn't know you as well as I do, so we're gonna come up with our own plan!"
Fitz blinked at Keefe.

"... I don't want to-" Fitz began, about to turn away.
Keefe grabbed Fitz by his shoulder.
"Hey, woah. What's with that expression?" Keefe frowned.
"I wanna help you!"
Fitz sighed as he looked at Keefe.
"Uh... I just... if you're capable of figuring out how to ask Tam out and not need me to help out, I can do this myself too." Fitz mumbled.
Keefe blinked at Fitz before he smiled.

"Dex helped me out." Keefe said, fiddling with his hands once he took his hand away from Fitz's shoulder.
"I did want to plan it out with you but Fitz, I just couldn't stand seeing you. And I was desperate asking Tam out so... I had to ask Dex to help out."
"Good to know Dex replaced me." Fitz said.
"Now, I'm gonna-"
"You should be glad I'm getting along with Dex because when you two date, and you will date each other, you, me, Dex and Tam will hang out with each other way more." Keefe cut Fitz off.
"Now come on. Let's go to our spot and start planning."

Keefe offered his hand out as he dug out a crystal from his pocket and held it up. Fitz stared at Keefe's hand and the crystal in his other hand.
"You think he'll forgive me?" Fitz whispered, staring into Keefe's eyes.
"I know he will. As long as your apology won't be a shitty one. And as long as you're honest about your feelings." Keefe smiled.
"C'mon Fitz. Let's plan this out."
Fitz took a deep breath.
"Okay." Fitz nodded.
He reached his hand out and held Keefe's hand. Keefe smiled.
"Good choice."

Keefe held the crystal up and they light-leapt away together.
