Jouno's Attempt At Driving (Jouno and the Hunting Dogs, Suegiku)

(A/N: I'm back again with an idea that Venti_Vented and I came up with together. In today's installment of BSD oneshots, we'll see Jouno driving...or trying to, at least. Chaos shall ensue. Consider this my attempt at writing crack lol. Without further ado, enjoy!)

Jouno had recently come to realize something.

He hadn't been behind the wheel in awhile. Since before he went blind, specifically.

And it made him want to try driving again. Which he was absolutely going to do.

With that decided, he went off to announce it to the others.

"No," was Teruko's instant reply.

"Not the best idea..." Tachihara added.

Tecchou just had his usual expression upon hearing what Teruko seemed to find earth-shattering. He just blinked, looking at his boyfriend.

"Wha- come on, guys!" Jouno protested.

"Are you insane?!" Teruko exclaimed.

"...Yes, Teruko. We've been over this."

"Are you more insane than I thought?!"

"Probably."

"Yeah, it shows! You're asking to drive!"

"I don't know what the issue is here."

Tachihara, Teruko, and Tecchou exchanged a look.

Jouno sensed it, scowling. "It's because I'm blind, isn't it?"

"Yeah," Teruko responded.

"Oh, screw you." Jouno crossed his arms, pouting.

"You asked, I answered."

"This is discrimination! And I don't appreciate it!"

"Can you blame us for not wanting you to potentially crash the car and get us all killed?" Tachihara asked.

"Oh, come on! I wouldn't do that!"

"Even people who can see get into crashes, y'know," Teruko pointed out.

"So you're saying I definitely will since I can't see."

"It's more likely."

Jouno looked even angrier now. "Discrimination."

"Guys," Tecchou spoke up.

Everyone glanced towards him.

"Let's give him a chance," Tecchou suggested.

"WHAT?!" Teruko exclaimed.

Tachihara looked shocked.

Jouno on the other hand was smiling. It was nice to know someone was on his side.

Tecchou gave Teruko a confused look. "What?"

"I really thought you were more sensible than that. You, the most serious, no-nonsense person I know, is saying we should let Jouno drive?!"

"Yeah."

"He can't see! That's the quickest way to get into a crash or something!"

"Hey, I've driven before," Jouno defended himself.

"I'd assume you haven't since going blind," Teruko countered.

"...I haven't. But that's besides the point! I at least could drive when I could still see!"

"You were probably just as bad back then."

"HEY!"

Teruko shrugged.
