The next day, I made my way to the thing I had seen on the map. I frequently checked back to my map and made sure that I wasn't seeing things.
I approached the thing cautiously. It was half hidden in the shrubs and vines that populated much of the Jungle. A hint of green on the unpolished cobble surprised me.
Mossy cobble.
A jungle temple. I should have known. We had learnt about these in training. The thing was wired with tripwire traps, but contained amazing treasures. If we could get past them.
I steeled my nerves and zip stepped through the vines the covered the entryway.
