TOMMY

This was just the time when I wished my powers were still with me. But my sword was gone, with Aly. I hungered for the speed, the extra power, everything I had with that sword in my hand.

I saw Em handling some of the monsters crowding in on me. She was just perfect at fighting monsters, slashing and cutting like an expert. I was just a fumbling fool, relying on my fear to drive me through the night.

I had no time to glance up and check the time. The monsters were closing in on me. Where was Em? The zombies got me a few times, cutting me on the arms. Luckily, there were no zombies with swords. Otherwise, I would have been dead by now.

I wanted desperately to be back home in Minecraftia, to meet my family. But I knew that they were long dead. When I was with Herobrine, I did not age because I was considered dead.

I may not even be aging now... The horror of the thought distracted me from the battle. A zombie flung me to the floor and I landed with a thump on the damp soil.

"Tommy!" Em's scream pierced the sounds of mobs shuffling and groaning.
