Em left me lying in the corner of the hut while she placed the crafting table and beds. Finally, the interior was ready and zhe lifted me onto the bed. The sky was dark now, and the only source of light was the single torch on the wall.
Soon, I drifted off to sleep.
A sudden bang on the door awoke me. Next to me, Em sat bolt upright. A zombie was at the door, its arms finding its way through. Cracks had appeared on the door. I slowly got up, careful not to disturb my injured arm, which was still not bandaged.
Em silently opened the chest and took out her sword. "Give me mine, I can fight," I offered as I stood up. Sighing, Em passed me my iron sword.
I held out my sword in a ready position and Em opened the door. Immediately, I swung my sword hard, slicing the zombie at the door and watching as it disappeared. A horde of mobs were gathered outside the hut, surrounding the area. Another attack, I thought as I stepped out of the house and got ready to fight.
Em stepped out behind me. That was when I noticed the person leading the monsters.
Aly had come for revenge.
