The patients are within touching distance of the Doctor, Captain, Rose and Jack.

"Go to your room!" the Doctor tells them.

___________

Jamie suddenly stops walking towards Nancy. She watches on confused and terrified.

___________

The patients also stop walking.

"Go to your room!" the Doctor commands, Rose, the Captain and Jack look at him confused. After a short moment the Captain realises what the Doctor is trying to do, he smiles.

Jamie and the others tilt their heads. Rose and Jack exchange a confused yet relieved look.

"I mean it. I'm very, very angry with you. I'm very, very cross. GO...TO...YOUR...ROOM!" he shouts the last part.

Jamie and the patients hang their heads in shame and shuffle away.

___________

Nancy watches as Jamie makes his way out of the Lloyd's family home.

___________

The four watch as the patients make their way to the beds.

"I'm really glad that worked." the Doctor sighs. Rose and Jack stand next to the two men.

"Yeah? Me too." the Captain says.

"Those would have been terrible last words." the Doctor adds.

___________

From inside of the Lloyd's house Nancy watches Jamie through a window leaving the premises and walk down the street. "Jamie..." she closes the curtains and sits down on the floor and starts crying.

___________

"Why are they all wearing gas masks?" Rose asks looking over a patient.

"They're not. Those masks are flesh and bone." Jack tells her.

"How was your con supposed to work?" the Captain asks him.

"Simple enough, really. Find some harmless piece of space junk, let the nearest time agent track it back to Earth, convince him it's valuable, and name a price. And when he's put 50% up-front, oops, a German bomb falls on it, destroys it forever. He never gets to see what he's paid for, never knows he's been had. I buy him a drink with his own money and we discuss dumb luck. The perfect, self-cleaning con." Jack says leaning back in a chair with his feet resting on the desk in front of him.

"Yeah. Perfect." the Doctor says.

"You comfortable there, Captain Jack?" the Captain asks.

"The London Blitz is great for self-cleaners. Pompeii's nice if you want to make a vacation of it, though. But you've got to set your alarm fro Volcano day. And yes I am, thanks." he laughs. "Getting a hint of disapproval." his smile and laugh fades when sees both men looking at him with a serious expression on their faces, he also pulls down his feet from the desk.

"Take a look around the room. This is what your piece of harmless space junk did." the Doctor tells him.

"It was a burnt-out medical transporter, it was empty."

"Rose. Captain." the Doctor says to his two friends.

"Are we getting out of here?" Rose asks.

"We're going upstairs." the Captain tells her as they both follow the Doctor towards the door.

"I even programmed the flight computer so it wouldn't land on anything living. I harmed no-one! I don't know what's happening, but I had nothing to do with it."
