The next morning, on the train, Camille presented her groom to be to her sister.

"Angelique, mon soeur" said Camille.

"Camille. You look happy. A lovely sight for my sore eyes" said Angelique.

Agathe came by and noticed her daughter. "Camille! I warned to not leave the compartment."

"Mamon! I present to you, Atticus Penmbroke" said Camille.

"Madame" said Atticus bowing his head.

"Mamon, Monsieur Penmbroke and I are to be married" said Camille.

"No you are not, Camille! When did you meet this man?" said Agathe.

"Late last night. I have finally found my love. Just like Angelique has" said Camille.

"And Angelique will be the only one with love! You are the spare!" Agathe almost shouted.

She turned to Angelique and said, "Run along to Henri's compartment this instant!"

Angelique abruptly did as told as her mother scolded Camille.

At the same time, Dudley, Newton and Amy boarded the train.

They noticed the woman yelling at her daughter.

"Furthermore, Camille Rodriguez, you cannot marry a man you only met the night before!" she was saying.

"You can if it's true love" said Camille.

"You know nothing about true love! And you, monsieur, stay away from my daughter!" Agathe screamed.

"Mamon, no! No! I cannot live like this anymore!" Camille cried.

"You have no choice! I am never to hear of you speaking to this man again!" Agathe yelled before marching away.

Camille burst into tears and fled.

Newton couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Newton?" said Dudley.

Newton snapped out of his daze. "Uh, yes?"

"Are you alright?" said Dudley.

"I dunno if I'm alright with a woman her age getting mistreated by her own mother" said Newton.

"She wasn't very nice to her" said Amy cutely.

"But it's none of my business. I'm sure something will work out" said Newton.

Atticus was still in the hall, as he was torn between listening to Agathe and cheering Camille up.

Newton approached him while Dudley stayed with Amy.

"Sir, are you alright?" said Newton.

"Not really. I had no idea my fiancee's mother was this rough. It turns out she likes her sister better; frankly, I don't think she likes either of 'em" Atticus explained.

"My partner and I know better than anyone how that feels" said Newton.

"Do you" said Atticus.

"Yes, our ex-manager didn't care if we had money" said Newton.

"Then how'd you afford to get on this train?" said Atticus.

"It's a long story. But if you need someone to understand you, you can find me in the compartment down the hall" said Newton.

"Thank you, sir; much appreciated" said Atticus.

Newton held out his hand. "Newton Weekes."

Atticus shook Newton's hand. "Atticus Penmbroke."
