Zayn

Perrie left in a haste barely saying goodbye before I was once again greeted with a lonely bed. I sighed, frustrated that despite the fact I was here; in the same city as her, we would not get to spend much time together. I had known this but it was hard to accept it now that I was with her.

Seeing her last night was like my world became whole again. All the frustration and exhaustion I had felt was washed away as she clasped her arms around me. I felt warm and it felt good now that I knew I was with her where I could watch over her. I had felt so disconnected from her but now that we were together, every negative feeling cleansed from me and I knew all I had to do was to make the most of my time here.

I realized I could not sulk around over the fact that she would not be able to spend all her time with as it was a fact that I was well aware of when I left London. I could blame her for this and make this a ridiculous reason for spoiling a well awaited trip. I had to get myself together and give her every second of my time which I could possibly offer.

It would to be pointless to fall back asleep so I decided to take a quick shower and change up. I was ready by twelve and realized how starving I was. I also knew that I could not spend my time here ordering room service to please my hunger, I had to get out. I called up my driver and my bodyguard whom I was forced to have to have along with myself if I wished to navigate around the city. I called up an old friend to grab something to eat or possibly a beer if he were willing. To my surprise, he absolutely was.

I spend a couple of hours with him, catching up on stuff. He was throwing a couple of parties this week which I was given invites to. He claimed that all my old friends would be there. It would be a great way to catch up everybody but I could not make him any promises so I told him I'll try to make one or two. He understood. Before I knew it, it two fifteen. Cursing myself for not paying attention to the time, I called up my driver to take me to Perrie's studio hoping that she would not be mad at me for turning up later than I had initially promised.

We got to the studio in ten minutes as my driver navigated through the city as if it were his backyard. Perrie was talking to her manager in the conference room from what I was told so I decided to wait for her. In the meantime, the rest of the girls spotted me one by one. Leigh was the first one, she seemed very happy to see me and gave me a hug. Jade was next.

"Zayn, how have you been?" she leaned in for a hug.

"Good, you? How has tour been going?"

"Awesome. It's been going great but busy as predicted" she shrugged and gave me a smile.

"Yeah, it's been a while since you guys have been on the road" I nodded, my eyes scanning the crowd for Perrie somewhere.

"Exactly. It was a little tough at first but now we're all used to it. I'm excited for tonight's show though, New York is insane" she chuckled. I nodded, remembering all the nights One Direction had played in New York. They were probably the best nights out of all of our shows, New York had an extremely enthusiastic and intense crowd.

"Yeah, it's going to be sweet"

"Are you coming tonight or are you doing something else?" she asked. I hadn't really given much thought to it but I knew I wanted to see Perrie perform badly so I was definitely up for it.

"Definitely. I'll be there" I nodded. Jade gave me an approving smile.

"Hey, let me go fetch Perrie for you, we're done anyways" she offered.
