117 : settlement

Third Person's P.O.V :-

Taehyung got out of the room only to see Jin standing outside, tears running down his face as it seemed like he had heard everything that had gone down in the room.

Taehyung knew Jin had feelings for Namjoon. Perhaps that's why he never even entertained the thought of his Namjoon hyung ever looking at him like that because in his head, Namjoon hyung had Jin hyung with him.

But now...

Wrong yet again.

Taehyung felt frustrated. He wanted to take it out on someone and who's a better candidate than his Jin hyung?

"Were you listening to that whole thing?" Taehyung asked,"Did you hear everything he said?" He added, not even bothering to be kind and try to wipe off the tears from Jin's face.

Jin just stared back at Taehyung, feeling sympathetic and apologetic. He couldn't believe that underneath everything Namjoon was conspiring for something like that.

"Namjoon is a creep! He told me I should just choose him and forget about Jimin because I resemble my dead sister!" Taehyung said, not even caring how much bitter words were pouring out of his mouth.

"He thinks I should just move on from Jimin, he thinks that I should choose him instead and he thinks him just being with me and forcefully sleeping with me will magically make me fall for him" He added, his voice filled with anger and disgust.

"He still thinks that just because I look like my sister, I can be his new Taeri and that when I was grieving over my dead sister, I was actually trying to SEDUCE him!" He snapped in a loud voice.

"Tae-Taehyung, I-" Jin sniffled,"I had no idea he wanted to-" But before Jin could even speak further Taehyung cut him off.

"And why not, huh? Aren't you the responsible hyung? The one who's in charge of everything here?" Taehyung countered as he took an angry step towards him.

"You knew about Taeri's plan, you knew about her being violated, you knew more about the Jeon and Park too so WHY DIDN'T YOU KNOW?!" He yelled at Jin, making the oldest Kim flinch.

"Answer me, come on!" Taehyung yelled at Jin while glaring at him furiously,"You ought to be aware a little right? After all, I know you're not as clueless as you look" He hissed hatefully.

Jin stepped back in fear,"N-no, I just thought he was being protective-"

"Protective?" Taehyung asked with a bitter laugh,"Jin hyung, tell me, does making me sleep with the enemy whom I despised just to extract a petty revenge on your dead fiance sound like protectiveness to you?!" He snarled.

"Taehyung.. please-" Jin tried to speak.

"No, because he might be your beloved Joonie but to me he just proved himself to be nothing more than a nuisance!" Taehyung gritted out as he angrily looked away,"And what about you?" He suddenly asked, making Jin confused.

"What..?" Jin whispered unable to comprehend.

Taehyung glanced back mockingly,"And what is your hidden agenda? Do you have a desire to bed me as well? Because then we'd come to a full circle!" He hissed hatefully as he shoved Jin back a little.

Jin stared at Taehyung in shock and pity,"Taehyung, please, calm down, let's just sit down and figure this out" He whispered out and stepped closer to touch Taehyung's shoulder but the other held up his hand in warning.

"Don't." Taehyung hissed threateningly as he glared at Jin.

Tears ran down Jin's face as he hesitantly retreated his hand back,"Taehyung, I was.. always, doing this for my friend Taeri, because I couldn't save her in spite of knowing everything, the guilt eats me away, she always jokingly told me to look after you if anything happened to her, you're my responsibility, Tae, I would never dare look at you that way" He tried to explain while his voice trembled and broke.
