My trunk was way heavier when I brought it back to Hogwarts than when I left. Secretly, I had to hide all my fireworks and things transfigured as books. As soon as I stepped foot in the castle after break, I was determined to continue that prank war with more excitement than before.

Having a Ravenclaw's ideas for pranks was a pretty good idea. Felix has a deviously ingenious side! Sirius had no idea what to expect and my pranks kept getting bigger and better! His pranks towards me were feeble! In fact, I even caught him trying to glue my hands together... Again.

January and February were hectic months for Sirius. I was always doing something to him, making him constantly stay on guard. James, Peter, and Remus even joined me a couple times! They enjoy seeing the looks of horror, anger, or embarrassment on Sirius' face. Luckily, Sirius loved the attention, and finally seemed to give in to the idea that I was the better prankster

In March, I was finally putting Lily's gift to use. The color bombs were set up in front of a bench overlooking the lake, the place where James said Sirius would be meeting after class. Just after hiding the last bomb in the bush next to the bench, I began to walk back to the castle and wait for the unsuspecting Sirius, but someone ran into me.

"Watch where you're going!" a Slytherin girl I recognized as Sterling Spies hissed and shoved me off the path. Her group of Slytherin followers sneered at me, making anger bubble up in my throat.

"You watch where you're going," I spat and tried to push through them. I didn't want a fight, but Sterling stood in my way, not letting me go.

"Who do you think you are, talking to me like that?! Your blood is probably dirtier than my shoes!" she laughed maniacally and shoved me. She was another blood-line obsessed pure-blood. Without truly knowing her, I already hated her. Whipping out my wand, I caught her off guard and pressed it under her throat while gripping her arm with my other hand.

"Leave her alone," a familiar voice demanded from the crowd of Slytherins.

"Severus?!" I asked astounded as my friend stepped forward. I let out a sigh of relief, he would back me up! Things took a dark turn when he pointed his wand not at Sterling, but at me.

"I said leave her alone. We can all just go on like nothing happened," Severus said coolly, keeping his wand on me. Shocked, I loosened my grip on Sterling's arm, allowing her to escape and point her wand at me. It was two against one. The Slytherins around us circled us in, anticipating a fight. I had no one on my side.

"Severus, what are you doing?" I whispered, looking hopefully at him. His mouth tightened as he held the wand fast in my direction, but he didn't reply. Angrily, I shot a spell at Sterling.

"Anteoculatia!" I shouted, hoping antlers would sprout in Sterling's bland, white hair.

"Protego!" Severus intercepted, causing a shield to form between me and Sterling. "Lexi! Please! Nobody needs to fight!"

"Too late for that, Snape," I growled, using his last name like Sirius and James always did. A mixture of sadness and anger filled me. I honestly thought Severus was my friend.

"Lexi? What are you..." a new voice called and entered our circle. I turned just in time to see Sirius pushing through the Slytherins, and eyeing Sterling. "Ah, Sterling..."

"Ah, Sirius! I've heard a lot about you... How you hang around with muggle borns. Very becoming considering your bloodline," Sterling said sarcastically, watching him suspiciously as he brought out his wand. "Let's see if you're different than my suspicions of you, Sirius. Blood is thicker than water! Join us in hexing your fellow Gryffindor!"
