"Do you know what tomorrow is?" Sirius whispered evilly in my ear. We were sitting in the common room, working on some homework before we turned in for the night.

"N-no," I stuttered, thinking he was referring to one thing. The following night was the full moon, and Remus still didn't tell everyone his secret. "Is it... Uh... Friday? The day we were planning to prank Snape?"

"Hmm... We can do that too..." Sirius nodded thoughtfully. "But! I was referring to the full moon."

Wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, Sirius jerked his head in Remus' direction, who was currently playing an intense match of chess with Peter.

"And if you'll notice, Remus isn't looking well at the moment."

Nonchalantly, I picked at a thread on my shirt and wouldn't meet Sirius' eyes. He knew... The way Remus was looking weary, pale, and jumpy right now... It took everything I had to not stand up and stop the lies right then and there.

"Sirius!" James called from his seat beside me. "Shut up with your stupid conspiracy theories!"

James whipped a pillow at Sirius' face, causing him to fall backwards in a flurry of feathers. Doubled over laughing, James didn't even see it coming when Sirius chucked the pillow back at him, sending him falling off the couch.

"Truce! Truce!" James yelled through a mouthful of feathers. Sirius huffed and flopped back on the couch, still clutching the pillow. Lowering his voice, James motioned for us to listen. "I say, you just stop stalking our friend and think of a good prank for Snivellus tomorrow!"

Grumbling in agreement, Sirius dropped the subject of Remus and began to spit out ideas of what we could do to Snape. Although he seemed to let it go for the moment, I still caught him sneaking suspicious glances at Remus throughout the night.

"Ow! Get off my foot!" I groaned as James stood on my foot.

"Sorry!" James whispered and stepped back an inch.

"Now you're on my foot!" Sirius grumbled and shoved James, making him nearly fall out of the cover of the invisibility cloak. The cloak was hard to use with three people!

"Shh! He's probably coming soon!" I hissed and shushed them. We were waiting for Snape and Lily to come back from their walk around the grounds, so we could prank Snape. Since I was the best of us three at Transfiguration, I was the lucky one who got to prank him this time.

Sure enough, my red headed best friend and my greasy haired enemy were walking up to the castle, straight towards us. Wand outstretched in my hand, I steadily waved my hand while imagining the incantation. A burst of pink light erupted from my wand right at Snape's chest. Before our eyes, my nonverbal spell turned Snape's long, black robes into a frilly pink dress.

Not being able to contain themselves, James and Sirius howled with laughter. In a panic, I shoved them out from under the protection of the invisibility cloak. It would look weird if Lily and Snape heard laughter but didn't see where it was coming from.

"Potter! Black!" Lily screamed and looked livid, like she was about to murder James and Sirius. Snape was already running off into the castle like the little girl he resembled, making me stifle a laugh due to the way he was tripping in those heels.

"You- you toe rag!" Lily continued to scream. "I should report this to McGonagall!"

Storming away, Lily ran after Snape. I knew her threat was empty. James and Sirius were still cracking up, tears now rolling down their faces from laughing so hard. Now that Lily was gone, I threw the cloak off and joined them, doubled over in laughter.
