TBOTE 12 ☠

Weeks had gone by and Eren hadn't started having any symptoms. He was relieved to know he wasn't pregnant and was ready to take the pregnancy test to confirm he wasn't.

Eren and Levi had met up in the woods and at Levi's tent a few more times but definitely did anything they could to prevent Eren from getting pregnant if he wasn't already.

"I think I'm going to take the test tomorrow morning." Eren said as he rested his head on Levi's chest. They had been lying in bed for the night.

"You haven't showed any symptoms right?" Levi asked as he ran a hand through Eren's hair.

Eren nodded. "Yeah, I haven't. I just want to be one hundred percent sure though."

Levi nodded and yawned quietly. "Alright. I'm sure you aren't though."

"Hopefully." Eren yawned and closed his eyes. He fell asleep instantly.

When morning came the two got up normally. "Ready?" Eren asked as he stood from the bed and got dressed quickly.

Levi sat up and nodded. "Yeah go ahead. Just go out behind the tent and do it." Eren nodded and grabbed the pregnancy test from his bag. He walked out behind the tent and opened the small box.

"I never thought I'd be doing this." He mumbled and took the test. He pulled his pants up and waited for the results.

Eren expected only one line, it made it clear in all capital letters that one line meant, "NOT PREGNANT."

The boy's eyes widened when he noticed a line starting to appear next to the other one. He let out a gasp and ran into the tent.

"Well?" Levi asked and didn't look up as he continued reading a book he had found.

"We need the spare one." Eren mumbled.

Levi's eyes widened and he tossed the book aside, he stood up and looked at the test. "You haven't even had symptoms Eren..this can't be right."

"It is! Look! Two lines means pregnant." Eren bit his lip nervously. "Mikasa, Armin, Hanji and Erwin know I'm taking the test right now. You need to take the spare so they think it's negative."

"Eren are you sure we should lie about this?" Levi asked as he stood up and grabbed the spare one from Eren's bag.

"Yes. It'll buy us weeks to come up with a plan."

"But things will just get worse. They'll know we hid it."

"Please Levi..just do it." Eren begged and started pushing Levi out of the tent. "Do it."

Levi rolled his eyes, he took the test and it was negative. "Here." He walked back in and handed it to Eren. "When they find out in the future Eren, I don't want to be dragged down into the deep shit you'll be in."

"Well you will be. It's your kid." Eren huffed and hid the positive test.

Eren looked at the negative test Levi handed him and sighed. He looked up when he heard voices. Mikasa, Hanji and Erwin showed up at the entrance to Levi's tent.

"Results?" Mikasa asked and raised an eyebrow.

"Negative." Eren held up the test Levi had taken.

The three that had just arrived looked relieved.

If only it was true. If only it really was negative. Eren thought and bit his lip.

"So I'm not pregnant." Eren mumbled. "Where's Armin?" He asked and sighed.

"In his tent still. You always stay with Levi now so he's a bit upset." Mikasa said as she looked at the test Eren held for herself.

Eren frowned and nodded. "I'll stay with him tonight." He'd rather be cuddling with Levi in an actual bed than on blankets on the floor with Armin, but he felt bad for his best friend.

"He hasn't talked much either." Mikasa sighed.

Eren nodded and grabbed his bag, making sure the positive test was tucked in it. "I'll go spend the day with him."

Eren walked over to Levi and pecked his lips, not caring who watched. "See you later." He smiled lightly and walked out to Armin's tent.

Eren climbed into Armin's tent like nothing and lied down next to him. "Hey." He smiled.

Armin looked at Eren and sighed. "Hi." He mumbled and buried his face in his pillow. "What do you want?" He asked.

Eren raised an eyebrow and sighed. "It's negative." He mumbled.

"So you only came to tell me the results?" Armin frowned.

Eren shook his head. "No, no. I'm gonna spend the day with you."

"Spending the day with me won't change anything Eren. It's just one day." Armin looked away as Eren put his bag down.

"Do you want breakfast?" Eren asked and Armin gave him a quick nod. "Yes."

"Alright. I'll get it." Eren stood up and left his bag behind.

Armin hummed quietly as he looked around the tent for Eren to come back. He looked at his bag and curiously pulled it over.

He wondered what Eren had in there. "Hmm." He opened the bag and started looking through it. He saw a pregnancy test and thought it was the negative one. He took it out and his eyes widened. He stared at it and read a loud, "Positive."

Eren walked back in and bit his lip. "Armin.."

Armin narrowed his eyes. "You said it was negative. How could you lie!" He yelled.

Eren quickly covered Armin's mouth with his hand. "Shh shh please. I'll do anything for you to keep quiet. Nobody else but Levi knows it's positive."

Armin looked down. "What did you expect would happen from stalling it? You're still pregnant. You'd have to tell us eventually. Buying time does nothing."

"I know, I know. I panicked." Eren sighed and took the test from Armin. "Please don't tell anyone yet though."

Armin wanted to walk out and tell them all Eren had just tricked them.

"Please." Eren took Armin's hands and squeezed them as he begged. "Pleaseeeee."

"Fine." Armin mumbled. "But you owe me."
