The bottom floors of the hospital that were taken over were successfully taken back. There were, surprisingly, no casualties. Only minor injuries.

Eren had waited it out with Levi and all of the others until the guards returned.

"That means you and your friend can leave now." Grisha grumbled to Levi as he motioned to him and Hanji.

Levi looked over at Eren, expecting him to go against his father and say something, but Eren stayed quiet.

Eren looked away when his eyes met with Levi's.

Levi hated Eren's behavior. Yes, he cheated on Eren and apologized. He regretted his decisions and promised to never cheat again.

Eren was giving Levi mixed signals. One moment Eren was close to forgiving Levi but the next Eren was pushing him away, trying to get him to leave.

"Does he really have to act like this?" Levi thought as he went to grab his clothes, that should now be dry, from the bathroom.

Eren watched Levi and took a deep breath when the man walked away. "I hate this." He mumbled.

Grisha looked at Eren. "Hate what?" He asked, turning towards his son.

Eren knew his father wasn't a good person to go to about feelings, but he had no other choice. Armin would probably say something that was confusing, that didn't specify if he should forgive Levi or not and Mikasa would just yell no immediately and threaten to chop off certain 'areas' Levi needed to survive. "This. I want to keep Levi here, I want to make things better. You're already sending him away again. What if he cheats again? I won't be able to find out because he's in a camp twenty minutes from here!" He frowned and bit his lip.

"You'll have to trust him." Grisha said as he checked Jazlyn's pulse. She was still unconscious.

"I can't trust him. I have no trust for him. What if he does it again?" Eren looked down and played with his fingers in his lap.

"He knows he hurt you a lot. He wouldn't do it again, unless he wanted to hurt you." Grisha mumbled.

Eren nodded and sighed. "Right. He knows how hurt I am, he can't do it again. Can't he just stay for a few days though? Please?"

Most of the citizens had already left back to their rooms. Grisha turned to Eren. "No."

"Pleaseeee! Levi and I need to try to make things better."

"So you're forgiving him?" Grisha asked as he turned from checking Jaz.

"I guess..just this once, I'll never forget this though. It's impossible to." Eren said as he looked down at Jaz. She hadn't turned yet and it had been a couple of hours, so that was a good sign.

Levi listened in to Grisha and Eren's conversation from his seat a few feet away. Hanji was babbling about random nonsense again, he pretended to listen.

Eren looked over at Levi and back at Grisha. "Only a few days. Please?" He begged his father again. "Just so we can fix this."

Grisha sighed, not wanting to agree. "Two days."

Eren smiled and nodded. "Alright! Thanks Dad." He walked over to Levi. "You two can stay for two days." He said and sat next to them.

Levi nodded and lightly rested his hand on Eren's. "So we can spend some time together?" He chuckled.
