TBOTE 76 ☠

Levi didn't hesitate for a moment and took the first shot. He shot Aki straight through the chest and left the gate wide open for the infected to attack.

A massive horde ran in. Mikasa and Armin managed to run past and get to safety while Levi shot infected that came close.

An infected got close to biting Levi's arm and Eren jumped in, letting the infected bite him instead.

Aki watched with wide eyes.

"I'm immune." Eren said with narrowed eyes and walked out of the gate with Levi.

The horde instantly had an interest in Aki.

"That's the end of him." Armin said, watching his captor.

"We're finally free." Eren said quietly and bit his lip. "Damn, a gunshot wound and a new bite. What's next?" He chuckled lightly. "Where are my babies?"

Mikasa and Armin walked closer and Eren kissed each baby's head. "Good they're safe."

"Let's get away before the horde takes an interest in us instead." Levi said quietly as he started walking, guiding Eren with an arm wrapped around his waist protectively.

"So what now?" Jean asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We look for somewhere safe and make our own community. We'll be able to do it eventually." Levi said as he walked. "First we should find a place for the night and take care of Eren's wounds."

The group agreed and they found a small cottage to stay in.

Levi lied Eren down on the small bed and removed his shirt. "It's not that bad. It looks like the bullet went straight through. At least you don't have an pieces of a bullet stuck in there." He said quietly.

"I have something that may help. It pains me to hand this over." Erwin walked in holding a bottle of alcohol. (An alcohol you can drink but can be used for wounds ig I don't even know XD)

Levi took the bottle and took a sip, grinning at Erwin before ripping the sheets. He poured some of the alcohol on the cloth and dabbed it on Eren's wound.

Eren cried out in pain from the stinging sensation. "Ow!"

Mikasa watched from the doorway with her arms crossed.

She walked in a moment later with Armin. "Here." They placed the twins on the bed.

"They're crying for you guys." Armin said quietly.

Eren smiled and picked up the twins. "Ah, at least the twins are safe."

"Yeah." Levi sighed.

"I saw you taking care of them." Eren said to Levi quietly. "Aki had cameras set up around the house. You did good with them."

Levi raised an eyebrow and looked down. "It was nothing. All I did was feed them."

"No. I saw more than that, no need to deny it." Eren smiled.

"Whatever. I'm still pissed at you." Levi rolled his eyes. "I'm going to go loot this cottage." He walked away and went into the kitchen.

Eren watched him and frowned. "I'm sorry." He whispered and looked down at the twins.

They were almost a month old.

Armin sat on the bed next to Eren. "You know it'll take some time for him to warm up to you again." He said quietly.

Eren was upset and angry, he felt he needed to take his anger out on someone. "Oh please, I don't need relationship advice from you. When we were together you let me leave you easily and go back to Levi, plus you fell for Aki the second you saw him."

Armin's eyes widened, he was taken aback by Eren's words and quickly stood up. He walked out, slamming the door behind himself. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks as he ran outside. He sat on the front steps and wiped his eyes.

Mikasa walked out minutes later. "You alright?"

"No. I'm done trying." Armin mumbled and leaned against the railing of the stairs.

"Ah, Armin come on. You know Eren is just upset Levi won't forgive him instantly. He's taking it out on us."

"No. He takes it out on me!" Armin pointed to himself. "Even when we were trapped together he was so mean to me. I know he was going through something big, so was I, but he shouldn't be so mean to me. I thought I was his best friend."

"You are. You guys grew up together from babies to now." Mikasa said, sitting with Armin. "And when I came along when I was adopted into Eren's family I grew up with you guys. I saw it all."

Armin shook his head. "I hate this all. It's hard, I'm tired of running. We can't trust anybody."

An infected walked out of the woods and towards the small cottage. Armin stood up and reached a hand out. He walked over to the infected. "If I'm bit I'll get a death sentence."

Mikasa watched with wide eyes as the infected grabbed Armin's arm. She sprang up and sped towards Armin.

In a second she knocked the infected to the ground and stepped on it's head. She was so angry tears of frustration filled her eyes. "You idiot!" Mikasa yelled before slapping Armin across the face. "Do you really want to die that way?"

Armin held his reddening cheek and looked down. "I'm just an existence now. My own best friend doesn't even want to be around me anymore. Sometimes he does and is super friendly and then the others he avoids me."

@hella_cute_fujoshi asked- "Hey Levi, just out of curiosity, why were you mad when Eren cheated on you? I mean I know you probably felt betrayed but he only did it with one person. You did it with more than one."

Levi sighed. "I thought that was in our past. I was forgiven and it took months for us to even get back to talking normally again. I know what I did was a mistake. I did it out of pain. I thought I wasn't seeing Eren again. He was trapped at the hospital and I wasn't allowed in at that time. I was mad when Eren cheated because I knew problems would start up again, I didn't think I would get so angry, it just happened. I didn't expect Eren of all people to cheat on me just to get me mad."

@pandatowrites asked- "Levi, what would you do if Eren was pregnant with Aki, and what if not? And are you still mad at him?"

Levi nodded and crossed his arms. "I am still mad, very mad. If Eren was pregnant with Aki's child I honestly think I would lose it. Cheating on me is one thing, but not thinking about what he was doing that moment and getting pregnant with this guy's kid is another thing. I wouldn't be able to stay with him of course. We'd all still have to stay as a group and we'd have the twins still. I feel like I'd be forced to stay. If he's not pregnant with Aki's kid I'll forgive him sooner. I just need to wait for Eren to take a pregnancy test. We'll see."

@Josei_loves_anime asked- "For Eren, where are you guys going to go now? What about the twins safety?"

"The twins are safer out of those walls than in them. Aki was up to no good. We plan on making our own community once we find the right place. We've learned we can't trust anyone that's not in our group."
