The baby hadn't even been born and Eren had such a strong attachment to it.

It was something in him he thought he'd be able to protect, and he failed.

He stood up from the bed and locked the door so Levi couldn't enter the room again.

The night before was amazing. Eren and Levi had finally had the intimate time they needed that had made them, as stupid as if sounded, feel closer.

Could they not be happy anymore? After every happy thing one horrible thing came around.

Eren yearned for the night before, only wanting the taste of Levi's lips at the moment. He had pushed Levi away though.

Who knew where Levi went.

Levi sat at the cafeteria table next to Erwin.

"How's Eren?" Erwin asked, taking a sip of tea.

"Horrible. He's really upset." Levi watched Erwin and groaned quietly, crossing his arms on the table. "He had no signs of a miscarriage so when he went it was sudden."

"Where were you?" Erwin asked, setting his tea down.

"Sleeping. Eren went without me. He didn't even bother to wake me."

"Maybe he didn't wake you because he didn't want you to react negatively if things were fine with the baby." Erwin mumbled.

Levi glared at Erwin and slapped his shoulder. "I'm not an asshole! I wouldn't do that."

"If I had a dollar for every time you broke Eren's heart I'd be rich." Erwin chuckled.

"Pfft. Like money matters anymore, and Eren hurt me too."

"Once." Erwin mumbled and rolled his eyes.

"I don't need your bullshit right now. Shut up." Levi grumbled and ran a hand through his hair.

"Then why are you sitting next to me?" Erwin smirked.

"I don't know." Levi stood up and left.

Levi roamed around the hospital corridors aimlessly.

He was in deep thought. What is he supposed to do for Eren? He wasn't planning on getting him pregnant for a while. And by a while he meant years and years-- if they even lived that far.

Levi didn't know how Eren felt. Of course, he felt bad for the teen but didn't know how else to react.

Eren's child inside of him was gone.

He shouldn't leave Eren alone.

Levi turned and walked back to Eren's room. He twisted the door knob and cursed silently when it wouldn't open. He knocked on the door and got no response.

Each hospital door had a glass window and some plastic blinds covering it for privacy. One of the blinds was open slightly and he could peek in.

Levi could barely see Eren. The teen was facing away from the door, towards the wall. His hands were in his lap and he could tell he was shaking. "Eren open the door."

No response.

"Eren do I have to kick this fucking door down?!" Levi yelled and kicked the door.

Eren stayed in his spot and only shook harder.

Levi kicked the door, starting to get very irritated. "Eren!"

The door was flimsy. It was a weak hospital door. The wood was starting to creak and crack.

Five minutes went by before Levi actually broke the lock from his crazy kicking.

He breathed heavily as he stood in the doorway. "Eren."

Eren turned slowly and stood up. "What do you want? You know I want to be alone." He didn't, he wanted to be held.

"Eren, you can't be alone right now." Levi slowly walked closer.

Eren stepped back against the wall. "No, I need to be alone. I need to." Oh, how he desperately wanted to be held and told everything was alright.

Levi walked closer and grabbed Eren's wrists, pulling him closer.

Eren instantly shoved Levi backwards. "Don't."

Levi stumbled and narrowed his eyes. "Enough!" He grabbed Eren and before they knew it they were actually in a physical fight.

Levi knew Eren didn't want to be alone. He knew he wanted someone close.

Why didn't Eren allow himself the comfort?

In between the constant shoving and hitting Levi finally grabbed Eren and held him tightly.

He stared into Eren's eyes. "Is this really how you want to live?"

Eren stopped moving and held onto Levi. "I-I'm sorry.." He whispered. "Please just hold me."

Levi nodded and watched Eren, holding onto him tightly. "You know you're going to get past this. It won't be like this forever. We'll have more kids in the future."

"That's not it." Eren frowned. "Imagine what tomorrow will he like. This fetus in me isn't that small. I'm going to have to see it. My baby." He whined.

"Eren, enough. This isn't your fault. You were beat." Levi sighed and led Eren over to the bed. "Just sleep alright?"

Levi lied down and pulled Eren next to him. Eren rested his head on Levi's chest and held onto him.

"I love you." Eren whispered, smiling lightly. He closed his eyes and immediately started drifting off to sleep.

"I love you too." Levi mumbled, the words still sounded weird coming from him.

The next day came, the day of the procedure.

Eren had slept from the time Levi had held him to the next day. It was early evening when their fighting broke out, the two definitely needed the sleep.

This time Eren wanted Levi there. He gently shook him. "Wake up." The teen whispered.

Levi woke up and rubbed his eyes. He was in one of his grumpy moods. "Yes Eren?" He ran a hand though his hair.

"It's time." Eren said quietly and bit his lip.

Levi nodded as he thought for a moment. Time for what? Then it hit him. "Alright." He sat up slowly and stretched his muscles, letting out a yawn.

Eren took Levi's hand and pulled him out of bed. They walked hand in hand to the nursery area.

(I don't wanna get into da details here cx ;-; )

The doctor at the nursery took Eren and Levi into a room. Levi sat in a chair on the door while Eren lied down on some sort of table.

The procedure began and ended in a matter of minutes.

"You might have some light bleeding Eren." The doctor said and helped Eren stand.

Eren nodded, a sad look on his face. "Alright." He mumbled and watched as Levi stood to take Eren's hand.

A/N: Aye look at Levi being #1 boyfriend of the year. So I have a dilemma. I made an Amazon wish list and I saw two things my mom bought from it. She bought a Ciel plushy and a Levi figurine and my (idk if this is OCD) brain is freaking out because I had a matching Eren plushy and Levi figurine on there too XD haha

That was so random but is the only thing on my mind cx heh
