That night everyone retired to their rooms.

Eren and Levi both got into bed after a long process of trying to rock the twins to sleep.

Their sleeping patterns were supposed to get better as they aged, not worse. Kari woke up almost every hour of the night cry for Levi's attention, which caused Ryder to wake up.

"Hopefully they sleep through the night." Eren mumbled tiredly and dropped himself down on the bed.

Levi nodded in agreement and sighed  quietly. "Yeah." He mumbled and pulled the covers up.

Eren rolled so he was facing Levi. "We've been together for a while, today is one of those nights where I want to cuddle. I rarely ask of that." He wrapped his arms around Levi's waist and rested his head on the man's chest. He was surprisingly warm.

Levi rolled his eyes. "I've never said no." He mumbled, watching Eren. He leaned his head down and closed his eyes lightly. Eren already knew what to do and leaned up, pressing his lips to Levi's for a moment for a quick peck.

The two pulled away and looked at each other. "That's it?" Eren asked, smiling.

"Sorry, you're not getting anything more than a chaste kiss tonight." Levi mumbled, chuckling lightly.

Eren rolled his eyes and pouted lightly. "Idiot." He rested his head on his head again and closed his eyes lightly.

Levi just watched Eren and combed his fingers through the boy's soft, long hair.

"I love you." Eren said quietly.

Levi stayed quiet for a moment, biting his lip. "I..uh..love you too?" He said quietly. "What's with being so straightforward? Are you like dying tomorrow or something?" The man teased, but raised an eyebrow when Eren glared at him.

Eren knew Levi was awkward when it came to things like saying they loved each other. Eren was the first person he had said those three words to.

He liked trying to get Levi to say it anyways.

"You're lame." Eren mumbled, leaning in to peck his lips again.

Levi returned the peck and rolled his eyes. "Tell me something I don't know."

Eren laughed and smiled. "Night." He curled up close to Levi and fell asleep.

Levi watched Eren and ran his fingers through the boy's hair even more. Eren loved the feeling, especially while sleeping. He felt safe.

Not a moment later the twins started acting up.

Levi groaned quietly and slowly moved Eren's sleeping form off of him. He watched for a moment as the boy clung to a pillow.

He slowly walked over to the twins and leaned down to pick them up. "I thought you two were going to stay asleep." He mumbled, walking out of the bedroom.

Levi sat down on the couch in the living room. It felt weird to be in such an empty space.

Everyone had their own space. Yukara and Mikasa stayed in a house together. Armin, Jean and Marco stayed in a house together, but Armin liked to switch between Jean and Marco or Yukara and Mikasa. Erwin and Hanji were the only two adults that preferred staying alone, but with only two houses left they were forced to stay together. Eren, Levi and the twins got the last house.

Levi would usually see someone down in the living room if they all lived together like in the community.

He set the twins on his lap and watched as they cuddled together.

They were already so old to Levi.

Things seemed too perfect. They all had houses, a surplus of food, and safety.

Something was bound to go wrong, it always does.

The camp they had in the beginning was too open to the infected, the hospital could easily be overrun by infected or gangs, the community was filled with an insane obsessive teenager (Aki) that took two Levi's people hostage (Eren and Armin). What good could the community they made do?

Levi sat in the darkness and looked around with a sigh. A tv hung on the wall in front of him-- he wished it actually turned on, he wanted electricity badly. It could ease his boredom in some way.

The twins babbled loudly and looked around with wide, curious eyes.

"Just go to sleep." Levi grumbled, wanting to get sleep as well.

Kari babbled loudly, giggling a moment later. (When a baby babbles and its literally screaming, yeah that XD)

"You'll wake Eren." Levi whispered, obviously knowing Kari wouldn't listen to him, she was a baby.

"Too late." Eren walked into the living room, rubbing his eyes sleepily. He plopped down next to Levi on the couch and picked up Ryder. He nuzzled the baby.

"Kari's loud babbling really woke you?" Levi asked.

"That and I could feel your warmth that I was laying on was gone so I woke up." Eren mumbled and rested his head against Levi's shoulder.

"Oh, I just didn't want to keep the twins in there. They would've woke you up sooner." Levi lightly bounced Kari on his lap.

"These kids never sleep." Eren groaned and watches as Ryder squirmed around, getting cranky.

"They really don't." Levi mumbled, leaning back on the couch. "We should get someone to babysit tomorrow night. We need a normal sleep." The man added.

Eren laughed quietly and rolled his eyes. "And what you mean by 'normal sleep' is having sex until morning, correct?"

Levi chuckled and shrugged. "I was really going to sleep, but I like that idea better."

"Liar." Eren laughed more and stood up. "If we get someone to watch the twins we will only be sleeping. I'm exhausted."

Levi also stood up and followed Eren back into the bedroom. "Really?"

"Really, now let's try to actually get them to sleep."

A/N: Wooo, I finally updated again! Once I get back into my motivation and swing into things I should be updating faster. Things have been so slow! Like for a period of time everyone is here and then half of you disappear cx but I shall keep on writing! :3
